3 TELEMAR AT SEA BROADBAND AT SEA WITH TELEMAR SEACALL TM VSAT Bringing your ships and crews closer SeaCall VSAT broadband is offered at a fixed monthly fee, which includes Internet access, VoIP telephony facilities, and rental of antenna and other equipment. The flexible bandwidth packages range from 512 Kbit/s up to 8 Mbits/s with volume allowances from 22 to 450 Gigabytes per month. The SeaCall voice service is provided at very low call rates making it ideal for crew calling. Through our Customer Portal tools, the customer always stands at the helm with facilities to control and set the corporate rules for Internet usage onboard the vessels. The SeaCall Duetto configuration includes a fully integrated Iridium Pilot or FleetBroadband for redundancy. Telemar Office Connect TOC is a vital element in any VSAT broadband installation from Telemar. SeaCall is provided on Ku-band for coverage along all major shipping routes, or on C-band for complete global coverage. TELEMAR OFFICE CONNECT TOC Fleet-wide Internet usage and cost control TOC is a single integrated solutions platform designed to manage, remotely from your HQ, the vessels maritime communications on whichever system they work; be it VSAT, FleetBroadband, Iridium Pilot, Cellular or a combination of two or more. The TOC platform is highly flexible and scalable depending on which communication system it is meant to manage. E.g. when used in a Telemar MariCom configuration (FleetBroadband, Iridium Pilot or/and Cellular) all software is accomodated in a single compact box, while VSAT configurations require an extended TOC platform including also VSAT modems, antenna controllers, VoIP servers, UPS etc.

4 TELEMAR AT SEA TV ONBOARD Flexible solutions for improved crew welfare The SeaView family of TV-at-sea solutions provide ships with the latest sophisticated technology for TV, media and surveillance applications. SeaView Vision is designed for new installations or upgrading using an existing coax cable network. SeaView IPTV is designed for distribution of TV to cabins and mess rooms via a LAN. The crew members may watch TV on their lap-tops or a HDTV with a small set-top box. Solutions may be tailored to meet individual requirements. INMARSAT AT SEA Global communications at sea and on land Telemar is a large scale provider of Inmarsat airtime and equipment. Due to volume purchase by the joint Telemar Group, we are in the position to offer very competitive airtime rates and favorable equipment prices. The maritime range of Inmarsat solutions from Telemar includes FleetBroadband, which is the latest addition to the Inmarsat family offering voice, fax and IP data. The older systems Inmarsat B and Fleet are being gradually replaced by FleetBroadband. Inmarsat C is a vital element in GMDSS (Global Maritime Distress and Safety System) and is mandatory onboard most merchant vessels. Telemar is licensed by Inmarsat to act as a Point of Service Activation, meaning that we are permitted access in the Inmarsat main database for activation of maritime Inmarsat terminals. Telemar is acknowledged by the ITU as a Maritime Accounting Authority, with the code SW01, and holds approvals from the major flag states to settle vessels satellite communications accounts. JRC is one of the world s leading manufacturers, known for its high quality and extensive product range, including Radar, ECDIS, Echo sounder, GPS-compass, GPS/DGPS navigator, Speed log, VDR-S/VDR as well as FleetBroadband and a complete GMDSS range. JRC product highlights are the high quality radars with Constaview TM, the GPS compass, and the cost-effective and technically advanced FleetBroadband terminals all of them innovative products that have been very well received in the market. Telemar delivers and performs service on the complete product range from JRC, for both ocean-going and smaller vessels. GMDSS/SOLAS SAFETY EQUIPMENT Complete GMDSS installations Telemar offers a complete range of equipment to cover the requirements for sailing in GMDSS areas A1 to A4, as well as all other SOLAS demands - SSAS, LRIT, VDR, Inmarsat C, MF/HF, EPIRB, SART etc. We take full responsibility for the GMDSS installation including sales, installation, drawings, survey as well as annual maintenance and service. We represent leading manufacturers, such as Cobham SATCOM (SAILOR), JRC, Kannad, ACR, CLS and AC Marine. Telemar is a Certified Partner and Onboard Service Center for Cobham SATCOM (SAILOR). For personal safety we offer an extensive range of Personal Locating Beacons (PLB) and AIS Beacons. The devices are attached to life-vests or carried by persons in order to facilitate search for, and recovery of persons that have fallen over board.

7 TELEMAR ON LAND INMARSAT BGAN Simultaneous voice and broadband IP globally Inmarsat BGAN is a complete satellite system for data and voice in remote areas where terrestrial and cellular networks are unavailable. Depending on performance demands, BGAN terminals are available in different versions offering IP data, streaming IP, ISDN and voice. BGAN can also be obtained for vechicle mounting, M2M and fixed installation. BGAN HDR, combined with the Explorer 710 terminal, delivers streaming rates of about 650 kbit/s. Uniquely, signals from multiple 710 terminals can be bonded via Ethernet to achieve IP streaming rates of 1 Mbit/s or even higher. SmartPhone apps for wireless connection of the user s personal device are available. SATELLITE PHONES WITH GLOBAL COVERAGE Global satellite communication in the palm of your hand Inmarsat, Iridium and Thuraya are all satellite systems offering the latest technology within hand-held satellite communications. Depending on the system chosen, the phones have functions for Satcom, SMS, GPS, GmPRS and circuit switched data up to 9,6 kbps. With Thuraya SatSleeve you may even transform your iphone or Galaxy into a satellite phone within seconds. In addition to the satellite phones, Telemar can supply docking stations, external antennas, cables, cases, solar panels and other accessories. Naturally, we also sign you up on the best suitable airtime plan. Iridium offer world-wide coverage THURAYA INMARSAT TELEMAR TERRACALL TM VSAT Broadband on land TerraCall is our cost efficient solution for VSAT Broadband on land with standard throughput rates up to 8 Mbit/s in the downstream. We are using the well tried DVB-RCS technology on Ku-band to cover remote areas where terrestrial and/or cellular telecoms networks are underdeveloped or even missing. TerraCall is best suited for fixed installations, but also mobile solutions can be provided. With TerraCall, you will have Internet access everywhere for , IP telephony, video conferencing and other applications.
