Move personal items on the desk to clean around. Ensure that there are limited obstructions to window ledges and skirtings. Ensure the desk area is accessible for cleaning and that personal items are kept tidy. and columns and remove graffiti. High glass and surfaces. Request, through the building manager, periodical cleaning for these areas. Vacuum carpeted floors, vacuum or sweep and full mop of hard floors, and a spray buff of vinyl floors. Move potted plants or other obstructions on the floor. Move personal items from the floor. Ensure that the floor areas are free from obstructions so that the cleaners can access these areas. Ensure that personal items such as shoes, bags, towels etc are kept tidy and off the floor.

Hand basins/vanities Clean basins, taps and drain holes. Clean all pipe work, splash marks and vanity surrounds. Move personal items to clean around them. Ensure personal items are packed away and out of the way of the cleaners. Toilet pedestal Clean pedestal and fittings inside and out. Clean pipes and floor behind pedestal. Urinals Clean urinals inside and out including urinal steps. Mirrors Clean all surfaces. Consumables Clean and replenish soap, toilet paper, hand towel and deodoriser. Partitions/walls Clean handles, locks, walls and tops of partitions and doors. Hard floors Vacuum or sweep, full mop of hard floors and a spray buff of vinyl floors. Showers Clean walls, shower trays, taps and soap holders. If consumable items such as shampoo, conditioner, razors etc. are left in bathrooms, cleaners will dispose of them. Move personal items or other items placed by the school to clean under or around (eg. floor mats, rubber matting). Move towels, clothing or shoes. Ensure that the floor areas are free from obstructions so the cleaners can access these areas. Ensure that personal items such as shoes, bags, towels etc are kept tidy and off the floor. Report instances of graffiti to P&F. Ensure that personal items such as shoes, bags and towels are kept tidy and off the floor. If it is not possible for the cleaners to carry out the recommended cleaning tasks due to the conditions encoutered in the laboratory, the contractor will inform P&F, who will instruct the contractor as to what cleaning can and should be undertaken. 2. Sinks and benches in laboratories will not be cleaned unless instructed by P&F. Laboratories (not including computer labs) 3. PF118 forms must be completed and signed by the Lab Manager by 01st March each year to ensure laboratory is included on the cleaning schedule. Empty general waste bins and replace liners. Waste outside of bin or on top of a bin. Ensure all general waste is placed into the bin. Dusting, dry/damp Laboratory benchtops and sinks.
