1 ZephyrLIFE Hospital Remote Patient Monitoring System The ZephyrLIFE Hospital remote patient monitoring (RPM) system combines the collection of multi-parameter vital signs, wireless communications and an intuitive notification engine to deliver seamless patient monitoring for general care. It allows for the simultaneous portal-based monitoring of multiple patients every fifteen minutes. This secure, standalone patient management tool provides continuous monitoring of vital signs, ECG recordings, activity and position, and may allow for a contextual assessment of a patient s status.

2 Three System Components The BioPatch wireless device continuously collects a patient s physiological data and transmits it to a central hospital station every 60 seconds, on demand or following a heart rate or respiration rate alert. Consisting of the BioModule sensor, BioModule holder and snap ECG electrodes, it is easy to apply, comfortable to wear and allows for monitoring multiple patients through the centralized ZephyrLIFE Hospital station. 3 ZephyrLIFE Hospital System Software Zephyr s proprietary, secure access interface provides flexible access for busy care personnel. Alert levels are individually set for each patient for personalized care. Historical vital sign trends are displayed in an interactive format. Alerts remain visible until they are cleared by an authorized clinician. Bed position and activity record can be requested and viewed. Vital sign and patient position display for all patients. 30-second ECG strips are provided automatically or on demand.
