If your gauge is close to matching, use the swatch as the beginning of your container. Double crochet 2 together (dc2tog) (Yarn over, insert hook in next st, yarn over, draw up a loop, yarn over and draw through 2 loops) twice, yarn over and draw through all 3 loops on hook. CONTAINER With larger hook and 2 strands of A held together, Ch 5. Join to first ch with sl st to form a ring. Round 1: Ch 1. Work 10 sc into center of ring Round 2: Work 2 sc into each stitch to end of round. Total 20 st. Round 3: *Sc into next st, 2 sc into next st, rep from * to end of round. Total 30 sc. Round 4: *Sc into each of next 2 sts, 2 sc into next st, rep from * to end of round. Total 40 st. Round 5: Sc in each st around. Total 40 st. BEGIN SIDE Round 6: Sc blo in each st around. Post stitches reinforce each other for four rows, then the pattern is switched for the next set of four rows. This creates the basketweave effect. 6.
