2 Junior 2011 Junior Golf Day Day Camps Camps Wascana Country Club is offering a great program for boys and girls of all ages. The Junior Golf Day Camp is designed for beginner golfers to more advanced players. Each camp is designed to suit the needs of each individual player. You can sign up individually with our set camp dates or can put together your own group of kids and pick a day that works best for you. The CPGA Golf Professionals at Wascana have designed an educational program that will provide the following for your Junior golfer. Driving Range * Examine grip, stance, and posture * Fundamental swing basics * Warm-up and practice routines * How to practice their new skills Short Game Area * Putting * Chipping * Sand Play * Mini Competitions Full Day Package ($ gst per person) (9:00am 4:00pm) Each day will include: * driving range instruction specifically tailored to each student s swing * short game instruction ( how to successfully reduce score ) * rules, etiquette and skills competitions * on course instruction ( course management ) * lunch, snacks & beverages * each student will learn how and when to practice their new skills to be able to improve CAMP DATES May 11 May 18 May 19 June 1 June 9 June 23 July 6 July 12 Aug 6

3 Junior 2011 Junior Girls Day Camps Day Camps The Junior Girls Day Camps will be run similar to the Junior Day camps but will have more of a girls twist. These camps will give the girls the opportunity to learn in an environment with other girls. Some of our camps are running in conjunction with the Girls in The Game program. Each camp is designed to suit the needs of each individual player and will be a great way for juniors to improve their skills during the two full days. 6 Junior 2011 Junior Golf Day Week Camps Camps These week long camps will be run Monday to Friday during specific weeks in July and August and are open to members of the Wascana Country Club and the general public. This week long camp will give your child a full understanding of the game of golf and will allow him or her to be able to play better for the rest of their life. Our teaching priorities include golf as a game of fun, excitement, and lifetime enjoyment. We have designed the golf camps to be goal oriented, which provide leader environment. The curriculum for the golf programs features all facets of golf set-up, Full Swing, Putting, Chipping, Pitching, Fairway & Greenside Bunker, Golf Course Strategy, Rules of Golf, Golf Etiquette and a Physical Fitness Session. Professional Club-Fitting Sessions may also be available if time permits. Week Package - $350 per person (9:00am 4:00pm each day) (Monday to Friday) (Lunch and Snacks Included) Space is extremely limited. Sign up early to avoid disappointment. Camps will run rain or shine. 9 Season Long Coaching The Coaching Package is for that junior looking to take their game to the next level. It will run from April 15th to October 15th, This package has no limit to the number of lessons taken throughout the season as arranged by the instructor and student. Each session may be between 5 and 45 minutes. Sessions can be booked a minimum of 7 days apart to maximize the opportunity for play and practice time. Ten to fourteen days is the preferred spacing between sessions.
