1 FEE INFORMATION 2016/17 OVERSEAS STUDENTS 1. Payment Terms The College relies on student fees to meet its financial commitments. It is essential that you pay your fees promptly and in accordance with published details. The College reviews its fees and fees policy annually. When you complete your Bournemouth University online enrolment form you should not be asked how you wish to pay your tuition fees and no tuition fee amount should be quoted. If you are requested to pay your tuition fees please contact the College s Admissions Department on admissions@aecc.ac.uk. 2. Payment Your fees are payable to AECC In full 13, Termly: Term 1: 4, (Payment by Wednesday 7 September 2016) Term 2: 4, (Payment by Monday 9 January 2017) Term 3: 4, (Payment by Monday 24 April 2017) You can pay by:- Credit or debit card (either on the telephone or in person) Bank Transfer (the College s bank details are given below) Cheque (by post or in person) Cash or sterling banker s draft (in person only) Cheques should be made payable to AECC and should clearly state on the reverse the student s name and year of study. 3. Discount If the annual fee is paid in full within 4 weeks of the start of Term 1 you will be entitled to a discount of

2 4. Late Payment The following regulations apply to late payments and will be strictly applied. Payment is due at enrolment (7 September) for the first term s fees and for subsequent terms on the first date of each term. If you are unable to meet the deadline for fees you must see a member of staff in the Finance Department at the start of the relevant term. If the problem is likely to be temporary, an interest charge equating to the prevailing base rate will usually be levied. However, failure to report to the Finance Department will invoke an automatic late payment penalty of 10 per week. 5. Withdrawals policy Students who wish to withdraw or suspend their studies before completion must inform the College in writing (unless they have been withdrawn or suspended by the College). The liability for the total course fees is as follows:- 12 September September % liability 26 September January % liability 9 January April % liability On or after 24 April % liability NB Except in exceptional circumstances the date of withdrawal or suspension is the date that the College receives notification of withdrawal or suspension from the course, not the date of last attendance.

(Fiona Campbell) IMPORTANT WHEN INSTRUCTING YOUR BANK TO MAKE THE PAYMENT, PLEASE ENSURE YOUR NAME AND STUDENT NUMBER (IF KNOWN) IS CLEARLY QUOTED ON THE TRANSACTION BEING SENT TO THE COLLEGE BANK.

4 FEE INFORMATION 2016/17 HOME AND EU STUDENTS FUNDED AND SELF FUNDED STUDENTS 1. Payment Terms The College relies on student fees to meet its financial commitments. It is essential that you pay your fees promptly and in accordance with published details. The College reviews its fees and fees policy annually. 2. Payment Your fees are payable to Bournemouth University. The tuition fees are:- 9,000 for funded students 13,368 for self-funded (ELQ) students When you complete your Bournemouth University online enrolment form you will be asked how you wish to pay your tuition fees. 2.1 Student getting UK Government funding If you have applied to the Student Loans Company ( or the EU Team for financial assistance to pay your tuition fees you must produce your copy of the relevant confirmation letter at Induction. Failure to produce the relevant documentation will result in the full termly fee becoming payable. 2.2 Students paying their own fees For students paying their own fees this will be in accordance with Bournemouth University regulations. Please see the guidance on the Bournemouth University website. l NB If you wish to pay by bank transfer this is only possible by paying in one instalment when you complete your online enrolment. You will need to quote your Bournemouth University student number. If you do not yet have a Bournemouth University student number please include the course name and year of entry e.g. MChiro Year 0.

5 If you wish to pay in instalments this is only possible by credit or debit card and the payments will be 34% when you complete your online enrolment, 33% on 9 January 2017 and 33% on 10 April Bournemouth University will not normally levy a transaction charge for payment of fees by debit or credit card. Please ensure you have sufficient funds in your account before each instalment date as Bournemouth University may apply an administration charge of if you default on payment an instalment. 3. Withdrawals policy Students who wish to withdraw or suspend their studies before completion must inform the College in writing (unless they have been withdrawn or suspended by the College). The liability for the total course fees is as follows:- 12 September September % liability 26 September December % liability 1 January March % liability On or after 1 April % liability NB Except in exceptional circumstances the date of withdrawal or suspension is the date that the College receives notification of withdrawal or suspension from the course, not the date of last attendance. For students who have taken a tuition fee loan from the Student Loans Company, the College will notify the Student Loans Company of the adjustment of the student s liability for tuition fees as a result of their withdrawal or suspension.
