Brand new program, from a Hungarian idea, with Hungarian development! Unique service in the Hungarian event organization business! All-inclusive service and organization! There is no need to move the participants in case of conferences, trainings, or team buildings! Transfer costs can be saved due to the same location! The complete movie is not only a tangible memory, but it also has an afterlife. It can be presented on company events, or given as a gift to employees. In any case, it is an everlasting memory. Two to three-hour intensive, experience-based, interactive, behind-the-scenes-type entertainment that engages all participants outstanding value for the price!
Schedule of the Program Time schedule of a regular Filmbuilding program 8:00 Arrival of Filmbuilding crew, setting up equipments, preparations 10:00 Arrival of guests, the program begins 10:05 Technical recce and orientation Participants receive the call sheets The Director introduces the scenes to be shot based on the storyboard Selection of cast and film crew (for more details, see the Acting section) 10:20 Shooting Recording each scene one by one at different locations 12:00 End of shooting 12:15 Post-production of recorded material (without guests) Removing make-up from leading actor/actress Actors and actresses give back the props they used 12:45 Film crew and cast photo 13:00 Screening of finished movie 2
Technical details of the program Dead Line movie trailer In the program we are shooting the trailer for our fiction movie titled Dead Line. Terrorists (participants) occupy a building and take hostages (participants). Both the self-appointed hero (one participant) and the arriving commando squad (participants) attempt to free the hostages. The basis of the story and movie is the same for all groups, but the end result is an action movie trailer, full of shootings and explosions, that is shaped by the participants. DIRECTOR, DOP (A.K.A. DIRECTOR OF PHOTOGRAPHY) AND PRODUCTION MANAGER A real movie experience requires that the guest group is directed by professionals. All members of the film crew are young professionals working on Hungarian and foreign productions, and thus they have the necessary experience in movie production. All Filmbuilding Directors, DOPs and PMs attend a training; therefore they not only know all the details of the program, but they are also flexible and can handle the questions and special requests of the participants, as well as the special requirements of the location. The Director continuously animates the participants, holds orientations, selects the cast, provides instructions required for roles, sets up the background actors, and makes sure that the time schedule is followed and all scenes are recorded in time. The DOP handles the camera during shooting, sets up the lighting and checks the recorded material. The Production Manager performs the preparation of the scenes and makes sure that all of the participants and accessories are in line. All groups are assisted by one Director, one Production Manager, and one DOP up to a certain group size. Large groups are split into smallar groups, and each small group is assisted by a Director, DOP and a Production Manager of their own. We can organize the Filmbuilding program in Hungarian, English, and German. 3
Group Size The minimum number of participants required by this program is 20, with no upper limit. Three persons (Director, DOP, and a Production Manager) control each shooting up to 40 participants. Above 40 participants shooting occurs in smaller groups, there is a separate crew for each group, and the groups arrive at the scene locations one after another. Example: For a group of 120 we will provide a 9-person crew. Three groups of 40 will rotate and the same locations shooting the same scenes. We will make three separate movies. Location We are shooting right where you are, at your location. We designed the scenes in a way that we can record them in any building. We set up a portable green box (technical equipment required to combine two recordings into one) at each location with the proper lighting. Main shooting locations: Reception area Staircase Hall Elevator Corridor Dressing room We use each location for an average of ten minutes so that we do not interfere with the regular use of the building. The hastened pace of shooting also allows us to demonstrate the atmosphere of a real shooting. If requested, we coordinate with the building manager before the event and discuss the use of building and schedule. 4
Time The program takes three hours between the orientation and the screening of the finished movie. The shooting of scenes with the participants requires two out of the three hours, and the rest of the time is dedicated for the orientation, selection of cast, post-production, and screening. Due to the flexibility of the program we can modify the time lenght of the event, within reasonable limits, to accomodate for the special needs of our customers. We can schedule the program for any time independent of weather, date, and time of day. Acting From our experience in recent years we have accurate knowledge about guests willingness to participate and do things out of the ordinary. To achieve a real cinematic experience, the scenes are simple and the roles are easy to play with a little devotion and with the instructions of the Director.During the shootings participants can try themselves in a number of different situations. The actors and actresses playing the main characters of the story (self-appointed hero, main villain etc.) appear on the screen several times. We record several closeups, which are usually used for expressing emotions and are also very amusing when watching the finished movie. Several scenes require a small group (4-8 people), and there are two scenes where the whole group is acting together. These are the most exciting recordings because everybody has to work together and nobody can forget his or her role. 5
