18 FOCUS: HEADLINE ROSTOCK PORT PROJECT: TERMINAL EXPANSION CT facility is to be expanded to 5 train-long transhipment platforms with two gantry cranes and additional storage space Start of construction: mid-2012 Commissioning: planned for end of 2013 >> Terminal expansion and proximity of the CT terminal to the berths enables short port throughput h t times and thus offers the ideal conditions for optimisation of the logistics chain. 18
