2 ABOUT THE INGLISTON REVIVAL The Ingliston Revival is a brand new addition to the motoring calendar in the UK. The inaugural 2015 event will celebrate the 50th anniversary and reinstatement of the full Ingliston Circuit, bringing motoring back to Edinburgh! Over 3 days the heyday of racing will be recreated in a packed, weekend festival with both on & off track entertainment. The venue first hosted motor racing in 1965 and famous visitors to Ingliston included The Flying Scotsman Sir Jackie Stewart, most famously in 1970 when he raced his Ford F1 car round the circuit. Other famous visitors to the circuit include the late Jim Clark, Allan McNish, Dario Franchitti and David Coulthard. The event is conservatively estimated to attract 10,000 public visitors across the weekend and has a population reach of 4 million people, all of whom live within 1 hour of the venue. Edinburgh is the most affluent UK city after London, with strong professional, banking and energy sectors. 4 REVIVAL DINNER FRIDAY 11TH SEPTEMBER 2015,000 + VAT Hosted By Lee Mckenzie (BBC F1) & Ben Collins aka The Stig The celebrations of the inaugural Ingliston Revival motorsport event will continue into the evening on the Friday night as we welcome guests to a celebratory black-tie dinner at the Revival Hospitality suite. Guests are offered the best hospitality and entertainment throughout the evening including a black-tie dinner, a look back in time at old Ingliston Racing Circuit and a fabulous after-dinner speech from Ben Collins aka The Stig. Lee McKenzie who will be the host for the evening is a highly respected broadcast journalist and presenter. Currently she is the pit lane reporter for the BBC s award winning Formula One coverage, hosting all the practice sessions on BBC2 as well as a weekend show on BBC News Channel. Ben Collins, our VIP after-dinner speaker is an internationally acclaimed stunt driver who is best known as The Stig from BBC Top Gear TV Show. Ben has coached hundreds of celebrities from Tom Cruise to Lionel Ritchie, organised high voltage car chases and tested hundreds of priceless cars to the brink. Ben holds many credits: As a Championship Winning Le Mans Racecar Driver, Bestselling Author, TV Presenter, World Record Breaker and Hollywood Stunt Driver.
