2 Limited Warranty SECTION 1-A This limited warranty is given to you by Gift in a Balloon (GIAB). This warranty is the only one we give on your Classy Wrap System, and it sets forth all our responsibilities regarding the system. There are no express warranties on your Classy Wrap System, and there are not other express warranties from Gift in a Balloon. WHAT WE WILL DO: If your Classy Wrap System is found to be defective in material or workmanship within one year from the date of purchase, we will repair it or, at our option, replace it. Do not discard the original box or packing materials during this time. Any and all returns will only be authorized if shipped with the original packing. If the original packing is unavailable, GIAB will supply one at cost, plus shipping. Repair or replacement of your product by an authorized service center is your exclusive remedy. WHAT WE ASK YOU TO DO: To obtain warranty service for your Classy Wrap System, call 1 (800) WHAT THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER: This warranty does not cover defects resulting from accidents, alterations, failure to follow instructions, misuse, fire, flood, and acts of God. We will not be responsible for implied warranties, including those of fitness for a particular purpose or merchantability. We will not pay for loss of time, inconvenience, loss or use of the product, or property damage caused by this product or its failure to work, or any other incidental or consequential damages. Return Program (Return Merchandise Authority) SECTION 1-B If your Classy Wrap machine needs factory repairs, please call 1 (800) , and ask for service. A representative of Gift in a Balloon or its distributors will determine if the operator can repair it or issue a Return Authorization. This will entail having the original shipping box and foam pieces for insurance purposes. If the original packing is unavailable, GIAB will supply one at cost, plus shipping. If your Classy Wrap is still under warranty (1 year from date of sale), all you pay is shipping costs. If the warranty has expired, depending on parts and time to repair, minimal charges will be applied, plus shipping. You will still require the original shipping box and foam pieces for shipment insurance. Classy Wraps with cracks or breaks in the clear chamber cannot be repaired. We strive to have RMA machines in and out the same day.

3 Maintenance Guidelines Cleaning: SECTION 2-A Clean the Classy Wrap inside and out. Remove all dirt and debris, remove any liquid and/or confetti with a soft cloth and glass cleaner. Remove vent plug (with screwdriver) and foam filter (clean this filter after every use, if possible), at end of each days use, and clean CV opening using shop vac. Do not adjust screw, it is factory set. You may use a cotton swab to clean debris from CV opening (FIG. 1.1). Note: After doing this, run machine 5 to 10 seconds to evacuate any debris that may have been loosened by cotton swab. DO NOT ALLOW LARGER OBJECTS TO FALL INTO CV OPENING MOTOR DAMAGE MAY OCCUR. Reinstall foam filter and vent plug after cleaning. Storage: SECTION 2-B When machine is not in use, clean thoroughly, using procedures in Section 1-A, and store in shipping box with plastic bag covering machine. If shipping box is not available use any larger plastic bag. This will spare machine from moisture and reduce damage in high traffic areas. CAUTION: Be sure to remove power cord from machine and store inside chamber with user guide, video and this maintenance guide to reduce risk of loss. After storing, clean machine thoroughly before use. Review user guide, video and maintenance guide before use. If at all possible, save shipping box for storage. Box can be broken down flat, foam pieces stored in plastic bag, thus taking up very little area. PROTECT YOUR INVESTMENT Once a Year: -Vacuum out motor compartment (see Section 5-A for Feet & Bottom Plate removal) -Lubricate underside of cam with balloon shield. (See Section for Cap & Cam removal) CAUTION: If chamber appears, or is suspected of having cracks, breaks or has been taped or reglued, DO NOT OPERATE. IT MAY CAUSE PHYSICAL INJURY TO OPERATOR.

4 Leaks SECTION 3 If your Classy Wrap leaks, check the following: -Cracks, taped or reglued chamber. -Lid Gasket damaged, improperly installed (see Section 4-F) -Check valve Bad/Old, Dirty (confetti, shred, balloon pieces see Section 2-A) or improperly installed (see Section 5-A) Vent Plug and foam filter will reduce debris from entering check valve, clean foam filter regularly. -Cap not installed properly (see Section 4-A) -Cap check valve bad, old, gone, improperly installed (see Section 4-A) -Pull rod seals bad, old, improperly installed (see Section 4-B) -Thumbscrews on star gasket/mount too tight, finger tighten only (see Section 4-G) -Hinges: wrong type, improperly installed, broken or missing (see Section 4-G) -LISTEN: with balloon inflated, listen around lid assembly, or suspected crack, then close cap tightly using both hands. Then lift lid assembly and listen around cap and check valve vent holds. Most leaks are easily found and repairable by the operator. Lid Assembly Repair SECTION 4 Repair and replacement of the following parts: CAP- Section 4-A CAM- Section 4-B Bearings- Section 4-C Pull Rods and Seals- Section 4-D Star Gasket and Mount- Section 4-E Lid Gasket- Section 4-F Hinges- Section 4-G Cap Replacement / Adjustments SECTION 4-A 1. Open Cap & remove six (6) cap screws 2. Install new cap (same direction) with all six (6) cap screws until screws are almost tight. 3. Tighten cap screws alternately, in order (see FIG. 4.1) until rim of cap raises slightly, then loosen approximately 1/8 turn. 4. Inflate balloon, close cap, lift lid assembly and listen for leaks. If leak is around cap, repeat last three steps and repeat inflation procedure. 5. If cap leaks from cap check valve, remove check valve cover by removing the phillips head screw. Under the check valve cover is the check valve flap. Inspect flap for irregularities. Reinstall screw into top of valve cover then install check valve flap onto screw under cover and install screw into center hole of cap check valve seat/vent holes. Tighten screw while spinning cover until slight resistance is felt. Repeat inflation procedure.

5 Cam Replacement / Installation SECTION 4-B 1. Remove Cap (Section 4-A). 2. Turn Cam until all Pull Rods touch. 3. Lift Cam (Note direction of arrows on Cam). 4. Install new Cam, same direction with Pull Rods touching. (Lubricate Cam ) 5. Reinstall Cap. Bearing Replacement / Installation SECTION 4-C 1. Remove Cap (Section 4-A) 2. Remove Cam (Section 4-B) 3. Pull off Old / Damaged Bearing. 4. Place new bearing, flange down, on small end of Pull Rod (see FIG. 4.2 & 4.3). 5. Replace Cam and Cap.

6 Pull Rod and Seal Replacement / Installation SECTION 4-D 1. Remove Cap (Section 4-A) 2. Remove Cam (Section 4-B) 3. Remove Bearings (Section 4-C) 4. To remove Pull Rods, pull out through 6 inch opening with an upward angle. (FIG. 4.2) 5. Install new Pull Rods, small end first from inside 6 inch opening. 6. Replace bearings, cam and cap. Pull Rod Seal Replacement 1. Remove Pull Rods (all steps above). 2. Peel old seal off small end of Pull Rods. 3. Install new seal, small flange first onto small end of Pull Rod (FIG. 4.3) 4. Work seal to about 2 inches onto Pull Rod. A drop of water will ease install. 5. Reinstall Pull Rods, Bearings, Cam and Cap. NOTE: When installing new seals it is necessary to seat the seals by turning Cam three (3) distinct clicks after all the above steps are done. Do inflation procedure, check for leaks. Star Mount / Star Gasket Replacement / Installation SECTION 4-E NOTE: It may be necessary to remove lid assembly for ease of removal / replacement. -Remove six (6) thumbscrews from Star Mount. - Remove mount -Remove Gasket -Reinstall new gasket, aligning holes with star mount at same time and install thumbscrew, alternately. (See FIG. 4.4)

7 Lid Gasket Removal / Replacement SECTION 4-F NOTE: To ease removal / replacement of Lid Gasket, remove lid assembly from machine (4 phillips head screws). Turn Lid Assembly and Lid Strap, if equipped, over and remove lid hinges (4 phillips head screws and 4 nylok nuts. Note how hinges are installed, to reinstall the same way). 1. Remove Lid Assembly and Hinges as described above. 2. Using a heat gun (on low heat) start at a corner, heating old gasket as you peel it off. 3. It is very important to remove ALL of the old black portion of gasket. (A flat head screwdriver also works). 4. New gasket has a peel off paper backing, starting at the handle, peel off only enough backing to get started. 5. New Gasket must be installed so all outside corners and edges (of groove) are touching (see FIG 4.4). 6. Replace hinges and lid assembly. 7. Do inflation test, check for leaks. Hinge Replacement SECTION 4-G -There are two types of hinges for Classy Wrap machine: Milled and Unmilled -To determine type you need, look where hinge attaches to back of body Back Plate (see FIG. 4.5). Or if purchased prior to Feb. 1, 2000 you will need the Milled Hinge. -If Back Plate is angled you will require Milled hinges, if Back Plate is straight, Unmilled hinges are necessary. -Remove lid assembly as described above (see Section 4-F). -Install new hinges as shown in FIG Reattach Lid Latch (if equipped).

8 Check Valve Replacement SECTION 5-A 1. Unplug Classy Wrap and place it on its side, preferably on a table or a counter. If necessary you can place it upside down on the floor, being very careful not to damage the lid. 2. Remove the four (4) phillips head screws, rubber feet, and the bottom plate. 3. Remove the three (3) motor bolts (size ¼ hex head) and carefully lift out the motor. 4. Remove the retaining nut. 5. With your fingers, carefully unscrew (counter clockwise) the white washer and set it aside. 6. Remove the old back rubber flap (part # CW0322) over the screw and replace it with the new one. 7. Place the white washer on the screw and tighten clockwise, finger tight only. 8. Replace the retaining nut, finger tight. (Note: Do not allow rubber flap to cup upward too tight). 9. Replace motor, being careful to align bolt holes with bold studs. Tighten the three (3) motor bolts. 10. Reattach the bottom plate and rubber feet. 11. Do Inflation test.

9 Motor Replacement SECTION 5-B Note: Someone who is comfortable using wire strippers and wire crimping tools should perform the following procedures. Drawing a diagram of the wiring before removing the old motor will assist you in installing the new motor. 1. Follow the first three steps for replacing the Check Valve. 2. Cut and strip wires from motor side of butt connectors and reconnect the motor with butt connectors. 3. Replace the motor, being careful to align bolt holes with bolt studs. Tighten the three motor bolts. 4. Reattach the bottom plate and rubber feet.
