For ages Thursday, December 1, 5-5:45 and 6 p.m. DIY Holiday Coasters: Looking for a simple and crea ve homemade gi for the holidays? We ll be making a set of fes ve drink coasters. For ages Thursday, December 8, 6-6:45 p.m. Lego Free Play Holidays: If you build it, they will come. Use your engineering abili es to make marvelous LEGO crea ons. Our theme will be the holidays. For ages Thursday, December :45 p.m. Kindermusik Register now for Kindermusik classes with Miss. Debbie for children ages 1-5. Tuesdays December 6, 13, and 20 with sessions at 9:30 and 10:30 a.m. Children learn and grow through play with other children, teachers, and you. Kindermusik's research-based programs will enhance your child's development and instill a lifelong love of music. Registration is required by visiting the children's department or calling GINGERBREAD MAN FUN! Catch your very own gingerbread man and decorate him any way you want with yummy frosting and other goodies that you will want to gobble up! TUESDAY DECEMBER P.M. Enjoy sharing rhymes, songs, stories, and plenty of smiles together! Tuesdays 9:30-9:50 & 11-11:20 a.m. Feed Me a Story with Miss Brittany: Children ages 3-5 accompanied by an adult are sure to enjoy stories, songs, rhymes, and crafts during this story time fun! Wednesdays 11-11:30 a.m. Thursdays 1-1:30 p.m. Family Story Time with Miss Beth: Families are guaranteed a good time as they explore stories and activities that are great for children of all ages. This is a relaxed and fun story time for all! 8 Current December 2016 CULTURAL CORNER Christmas on the Canal, will be December 3 from 2:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the library! Santa will be taking wish lists from the children. There will be goodies and a cookie bake sale. (Sponsored by the Friends of the Library.) Echoing Connections: December 11:00 a.m. at the library. CFPL Board meetings are held in the library, usually on the second Wednesday of each month at 7:00 P.M. Since there are occasional changes, it is best to con irm the time and date by calling the library at All meetings are open to the public. The next meeting is December 7:00 P.M. The Canal Fulton Public Library will be closed on Saturday, December 24th all day, and all day Monday, December 26th and will close on December, 31st at 5:00 p.m. in observance of New Year s Eve but we are always open online, so you can download ebooks, do research, or renew your materials. No library materials checked out from the Canal Fulton Public Library are due on any day that the library is closed. Mission Statement The Canal Fulton Public Library serves the educational, cultural, and social needs of our communities by providing access to materials, information, technology, and services. The CFPL Current is published monthly except June/July for the Summer Reading Newsletter, by the Canal Fulton Public Library.
