1 o SARNCO: 24 Rape Helpline: The Sexual Assault Response Network of Central Ohio (SARNCO) is the local sexual assault intervention and prevention program. SARNCO works with local law enforcement and social services agencies to provide medical and social support services to victims of sexual assault. Services include evaluation and treatment in local emergency departments, emotional support from volunteer advocates, a 24-hour rape helpline, referrals to aftercare counseling and community outreach and prevention education. o NETCARE: Netcare Access provides twenty-four hour mental health and substance abuse crisis intervention, stabilization and assessment for Franklin County, Ohio residents. These services are provided for children, adolescents and adults who evidence a mental health or substance abuse disorder. Referrals, if necessary, are made to local agencies for therapeutic treatment. Netcare is staffed with skilled physicians, nurses, psychologists, social workers and counselors. Services are available to anyone, regardless of the ability to pay. Netcare Access is known as your connection to Franklin County s Alcohol, Drug and Mental Health (ADAMH) system of care. You will be guided through a simple process of information gathering about the incident and yourself. There are NO requirements - you can share the level of information that is comfortable for you. You may choose to report anonymously. All reports are kept strictly confidential. BRAVO can help you identify your options and potential courses of action. If you choose to make a police report (you are not required to do so), we can explain the procedure, go with you to police headquarters, or arrange to have the report taken at BRAVO or some other site. After the report is taken, we will still be there for you. We can assist and accompany you through all steps in the process. For some, our support groups and self-defense classes are an important part of the process.
