University Preferences: Within the MaMaSELF Master, students must study in two different universities of the consortium: entrance university and second university for the Master thesis. The Master thesis can also be conducted at large scale facilities or at partner institutions in Switzerland or Japan. Instruction language is English for all Universities. Please select a first and second preference for the entrance and for the second university (they can not be the same) according to your study preference. As the LMU does not deliver a diploma at present, it can only be chosen for the Master thesis during the 2 nd semester and not during the 1 st semester. Nota bene: You cannot stay both semesters at the same site in Munich. 8 8 Application procedure: Application has to be done in two steps: 1) electronic submission: (deadline for non-eu students, for EU students) For the electronic submission you need to fill out all mandatory fields in the MaMaSELF application form.
