3 Switch between work and play with a tap of an icon on your iphone or ipad. Carry one device loaded with your favorite games and apps, as well as your encrypted business , contacts and calendar. All of this is now possible with AT&T Toggle, and your company doesn t mind one bit. If you received an with an ORANGE Banner (Figure 1): Click on the Install button to begin the AT&T Toggle registration process. Before you begin installing AT&T Toggle, ensure that you meet the following requirements: You have an iphone or ipad running ios 5.0 or later (ipod integration is not currently supported). You have a stable Wi-Fi or 4G connection. You have infrastructure running Exchange 2007 or 2010, Office 365, IMAP, or POP3. You have Exchange Active Sync enabled (if using an Exchange account). There will be several apps to install and you should allow about 10 minutes for installation. Figure 1 Now, skip to Figure 4. You do not need to create a new AT&T Toggle Password. Your password will be the same password you use to access your corporate account. To begin, you should have received an from your Toggle IT Administrator with instructions to complete your registration. This can be opened on your computer or from your mobile device itself. Your welcome contains either an orange or blue banner. Please proceed to Step 1.1 for those with an orange banner or Step 1.2 if you have a blue banner. You will need to remember which you received as your credentials will be different in Step 3: Logging Into AT&T Toggle. If you received an with a BLUE Banner (Figure 2): The contains a button to create your password in order to download and install the application. Click on the Create Password button to begin the AT&T Toggle registration. Page 1

4 device. These are NOT the same as your Exchange password. Create your password and click next to go on to the next screen. If you are following these steps from your computer: You will be asked to specify your device address to send the link to download the AT&T Toggle Client (see Figure 4). : Figure 2 If you are following these steps on your device: You will be taken directly to the install page (see Figure 7). You will then be presented with a screen to create your password for AT&T Toggle. Figure 4 Figure 3 First create a unique password; it must be entered twice to make sure it is typed correctly. Remember this password, as you will use it to log into AT&T Toggle later. Enter the address that you have configured on your iphone or ipad and click Send. You will then be prompted to check your on the iphone or ipad where you would like to install AT&T Toggle. Note: There is one password for initial AT&T Toggle install and a separate PIN for everyday access to the AT&T Toggle workspace on your Page 2

Figure 7 Note: If you are unable to see the install screen, please make sure JavaScript is enabled on your device. Go to browser settings and then JavaScript and make sure it is on. Check your from your iphone or ipad, and select the Install button. Once you click the Toggle button, you will be directed to the App Store to download the AT&T Toggle Client. Tap the button along the top that says FREE and the text will change to INSTALL APP. Tap the button again and enter your Apple ID Password to confirm. The App Store will close and AT&T Toggle will install onto your device desktop. Figure 6 Once installed, select the AT&T Toggle icon. This icon will appear on the device user interface (the desktop of the device). Choose the Install button. 6 License Agreement (EULA) for AT&T Toggle. Check the box once you agree and understand to the terms and tap Agree to continue. Figure 10 Figure 9 When prompted, enter your credentials. In Step 1: Activating AT&T Toggle, you received an orange or blue welcome . Your credentials will be different based on the you received. These credentials are provided in the End User Device Enrollment Instructions sent to you by your Toggle Administrator. If you are unsure what to put here, see Section 1. Your username is: {username} Your password will be the password that you previously set up in Figure 3 Your Toggle Company ID can be found in your Welcome and is typically an abbreviation of your company name. Your credentials are provided through the enrollment sent to you by your Toggle Administrator. The password is what you use to log into your corporate account. The Toggle Company ID is also included in your Welcome and is typically an abbreviation of your company name or the first ten characters. Figure 11 Page 4

7 Selecting and opening the AT&T Toggle application will prompt you to set up your AT&T Toggle PIN. Figure 13 After you have created your PIN, AT&T Toggle will prompt you to put in your PIN in order to log into the application. Figure 12 Follow the instructions to create your AT&T Toggle PIN. This PIN is not the same as your AT&T Toggle password used during installation. This PIN will be used each time you switch between your personal space and your work space. Note: This section applies to Toggle Premium users ONLY. If you are not automatically prompted to install AT&T Toggle Certificates at this point, then you are a Toggle license user (not Toggle Premium). Toggle license users can skip to Section 6 to continue their installation process. After you successfully log in with your newly created PIN, a pop up appears telling you that Management Certificates will now install. Page 5

8 Figure 14 You will be directed to your iphone or ipad settings. Tap the Install button to install the AT&T Toggle Enrollment Profile to enable AT&T Toggle s device management capabilities. Figure 16 The next setting screen will ask you to install the AT&T Toggle certificates. Click Install to continue with the profile setup. Clicking cancel will stop the setup. Figure 15 You may be asked at this point to enter a Passcode (Figure 16). This is NOT your AT&T Toggle PIN/Password. This is your personal code used to unlock your phone. Figure 17 The next screen should only prompt you to click done to continue profile setup. Once complete, AT&T Toggle will return you to the Safari browser. Do not click Install. Click the home button, and then click the Toggle icon to open the application and continue the set-up process. Page 6

9 Figure 18 Note: iphone and ipad can only support one device management profile. If your device has a previously installed device management profile from another provider, you must first delete the existing device management profile before downloading and installing AT&T Toggle. To delete a pre-existing profile, go to Settings> General> Profiles, and then select the profile to delete and select Remove. Figure 19 When you select Install, you may be directed to the Apple App Store to install the application. Follow the prompts in the App Store to install the application. Note: If you do not install each application you are prompted to install during this step, then your Toggle Administrator may wipe or disable your AT&T Toggle account. Once the certificates are loaded, AT&T Toggle will prompt you to download the remaining wrapped AT&T Toggle Apps; at a minimum, you will be prompted to download the Toggle Browser application. Click Install for each application pop-up that appears. Your Toggle Administrator may have enabled VPN access for your AT&T Toggle account. If so, then at this point you will be prompted to enter your VPN username and password as shown in Figure 20 below. Page 7

10 credentials once (for initial connection), or you may need to enter your credentials each time you enter an AT&T Toggle application. When you access AT&T Toggle for the first time, you will be presented with the following screen. Figure 20 Enter your VPN credentials and click Connect to establish the VPN connection. You can verify that the connection was successfully configured by observing the lock icon within the status bar. Figure 22 AT&T Toggle will ask for your permission to send push notifications. 11 Figure 23 Figure 24 Now press the Set Up Now button to begin your set up. AT&T Toggle directly syncs with MS Exchange Server 2007 and 2010, IMAP, and POP3. If your administrator has not preconfigured your settings, you will see the screen shown in Figure 25. There are three different types of accounts supported: Exchange, IMAP, or POP3. Select the appropriate account type for your corporate address. It is likely that your Administrator has already defined some of your settings. In this case, you will only need to enter your address, user name, and password to begin sync in AT&T Toggle. For example, Figure 24 shows an Exchange account configured with pre-defined settings. Figure 25 If you are setting up a Microsoft Exchange 2007 or account, you will be presented with a screen that looks similar to the following: Page 9

12 To configure an IMAP account, you will need to configure additional settings. These additional settings include outgoing/incoming port numbers and outgoing/incoming servers. If you do not know your server settings, please contact your Toggle Administrator. Figure 26 Note: After initial set-up, you can return to this screen to edit or remove your account by going to: Menu->Settings->Your account name Enter the required information to set up your work account. Please contact your company s Toggle Administrator if you don t know the server information. Once you have successfully completed the required information, you will choose the Save button to proceed to your . Figure 28 Similar to the IMAP account setup, you will need to enter your server settings (incoming and outgoing) in order to setup your POP3 account. If you do not know your server settings, please contact your Toggle Administrator. Figure 27 Page 10

13 Figure 30 Figure 29 You will then be directed to a mobile browser screen with a list of applications available to install. Your Toggle Administrator has required that you install all of the applications on this page. Note: This section applies to AT&T Toggle license users ONLY. If you did not receive an automatic prompt to install AT&T Toggle Certificates after PIN creation, then you are a Toggle license user (not Toggle Premium). Continue with the steps in this section to finish installing the AT&T Toggle applications (Toggle Premium users will have already installed these apps in Step 5.1). Once you have set up your corporate within AT&T Toggle, you should see a new in your inbox from AT&T Toggle with the subject Download Application List. Open that and click on the link provided in Step 1. Figure 31 Click on the Install button next to the application name to install the application. This link may prompt you to install immediately or you may be taken to the App Store to install the application. Follow the prompts and repeat the installation process for each application listed.
