3 I am very pleased to present this annual report outlining our Equality Objectives and demonstrating our continued commitment to Equality and and involve our diverse communities over the last the last twelve months to promote equality and diversity and ensure positive outcomes across West Mercia. West Mercia Police serves over 1 million people across a diverse region Our recent review of our Independent Advisory Groups (IAGs) across the Alliance has enabled us to establish a model that is more attuned to the guidance issued by the College of Policing in 2015: J:\Enabling Services\SSI\Equality & Diversity\ Strategic Diversity\IAGs\Independent Advisory Groups Advice 2015.pdf I am particularly proud of the achievements of our Diversity Delivery Group and the enthusiasm and and wellbeing. West Mercia Police
4 demonstrates our compliance with the General Public Sector Equality Duty. Our Details of the meetings can be found on our website.
