" I am satisfied that thesc objecti ves were achieved and that the scnior leadership team is fullycommined to leading our family towards the Tomorrow's Navy vision." VADM Shackleton said. "I am aware that there is considerable stress in the workforce as we struggle to kccp pace with today's tem po wit h 3n ever shrinking workforce. ''The NSLT is vcry conscious that as we transition to the new Navy utmost care must be taken to not compromise our oper3lional ability. '"There has to be a contract of trust between the senior leadership of the Navy and all Navy people which grows from our mutual commitment to have a bener Navy. "In shore positions I am expt.'cting commodores and captains to be the driving forces for change of how we do our business. They arc charged with dclh'ering the biggest pans of the action. ''There was considerable discussion among the senior leadership group on appropriate titles for the system.s commander and the force clement managers.
