1 Wurth Industry North America Shipping Process Dear Supplier, Wurth Industry North America (WINA) would like to formally introduce you to our new standardized shipping, packaging and labeling system. These guidelines will allow Wurth to more effectively control our logistics and freight handling costs. Shipping and Transport All shipments over 250lbs must be arranged through our third party service provider RateLinx. Shipments under 250lbs, please ship as directed on purchase order. RateLinx is a supply chain service, technology & solutions provider who has created a dynamic routing system that will provide instructions for the routing of all inbound freight. To find our preferred carrier and to ensure that WINA takes advantage of our lower discounted rates, please utilize Ratelinx s web site at Please contact each WINA company for additional instructions along with your Client ID, User ID and Password. Cartons Any carton arriving to our facility must adhere to the following guidelines: Must not be over 40lbs, on pallet or small package. Cartons must be properly sealed and in good condition when shipped. Only one part and one lot per carton. Any partial carton must be clearly labeled on the top and side with a fluorescent label reading Partial. If on a pallet, partial boxes must be placed on top where clearly visible. 2 Packing List Every shipment must include the original packing slip. The packing slip must be attached clearly visible by means of a packing slip pouch on the front side of the package. It should never be included with the shipping documents. The shipment details on the packing slip and packing list are identical - the only difference is that the packing slip contains information on all line items of the entire shipment and the packing list contains details only for the respective package. Each line item in the packing list should be listed on a separate sheet. Packing slip and packing list must contain the following details: Würth purchase order number and ordered line item Würth Part Number Part Number description Delivery quantity Packing slip number Pallet number or if possible number of the shipping unit (NSU) Weight of line item Country of Origin Number of packaging units per line item and if applicable: Customs tariff number Partial deliveries must be noted as such on the packing slip or on the packing list. Pallets Our warehouse will operate with 36W x 36L inch wood pallets. We need our suppliers to provide products on these wood pallets. Shipping pallets are not allowed to exceed a loading height including flat pallet of 30 inches and a total weight including flat pallet of 2000 lb. Any labor cost for not conforming will be charged back at our discretion. All pallets must be shipped being fully wrapped with shrink-wrap. Boxes must be contained within the dimensions of the pallet with no overhang. It is also recommended that a corner board be placed in each of the corners of the pallet to provide additional support. 3 Pallet Labels In addition to the boxes, also the pallets have to be labeled. These labels need to be placed on the side of the pallet so they are easily accessible when receiving in the pallet. The labels that are placed on the pallets need to include: Supplier Name/City Ship to Location P.O. Number Part Number Description Number of cartons Pallet label must be flourescent if multiple parts or lots Mixed Pallet and Lot Requirements If a supplier mixes parts on a pallet, the boxes of different parts need to be segregated and stacked side by side instead of one on top of each other. Pallet size for mixed products will remain 36W x 36L, but the height may vary depending on the type of product, but not exceed 72 inches. All like lot numbers need to be placed on the same pallet to avoid multiple lot numbers on multiple pallets. For example, if you have the same part with 200 of lot A and 200 of lot B, do not mix 100 from each lot on two different pallets, place all of lot A on one pallet and all of lot B on another. Furthmore, we will not accept multiple lot numbers for a part unless agreed to in writing in advance. 4 Packaging and Labels The packaging quantity must be according to the purchase order. Each carton must have a label. The content of the individual carton must correspond to the information provided on the label. WINA might request to use barcode labels. Required Label Size is: 4 in x 2 in, Alternate label sizes may be used with approval. The label has to show the following information: Part Number* Würth Logo Part Description Quantity* Lot Number* Country of Origin (COO) P.O Number* Package Date Expiration Date (As required Leave blank if product has no expiration date) * MUST include Bar Code Example Label (not the actual size) WINA Würth Industry North America Page 4 of 5

We reserve the right to charge the supplier for any additional costs caused by a repetitive error.
