4 World Wide TV: Ship your TV, regardless of geography or standard No matter what the dominant standard in any geographic location, Wipro's digital TV solution ensures your product can meet the requirements. The solution addresses the standards of Europe (DVB-T/ T2/ S/ S2/ C, DVB-CI/ CI Plus, MHEG-5, MHEG-HD), North America (ATSC, Cable QAM Clear, CableCard) and Japan (ISDB-T 12 seg. 1 seg, ISDB-S). The big advantage is it enables consumer electronic device manufacturers to develop feature-rich products for global markets within tight time-to-market constraints. The solution includes an application development kit, middleware, a hardware abstraction layer, an OS abstraction layer, all of which provide an interface between a hardware platform and an application development environment. On one side, this enables OEMs/ ODMs to upgrade their products with next generation chipsets rapidly and at minimal costs. On the other side, this enables service providers and operators to develop sophisticated applications without worrying about the underlying hardware.

5 The Home Entertainment Network: Bringing it all home Our application development & system integration services coupled with in-house network & middleware components help organizations create products which can interface with TVs, PCs, mobile devices, or media players over a high speed wireless network. This enables wireless transmission of music, movies, photos from a PC or mobile phone to TV and speakers, and enables the viewers to enjoy watching on a big screen with a surround sound system. 6 High Resolution and 3D Movie: Make believe now hyper-real Wipro's Blu-Ray middleware stack enables consumer electronics OEMs/ ODMs to integrate blu-ray support in their products like portable devices, idtv, set-top box, home theatres. This not only enables viewers to experience high resolution video, but also allows them to download trailers, games etc., while watching movies. The stack supports HDMV mode, BD-J mode, playback of BD-ROM 1.0, 1.1, 2.0 profile disk, BD-RE 2.0, 3.0 profile disk, local storage & network connectivity. It can be ported to any operating system, hardware through OS/ hardware abstraction layers, graphics engine/ font engine, JVM which enables OEMs/ ODMs to upgrade their products with next generation chipset and applications with minimal cost and time.

The open sourced approach not only helps to integrate different devices with each other very easily, but also creates opportunities for high-end application development at a very low cost.

Streaming Media Player: Design and development of Media streaming solution. Wipro provided for the Device management application Network control application and Integration of a voice recording functionality.
