Today s privacy laws do not permit hospitals to contact churches when a patient is in need of a pastoral visit. We are made aware of it only when the individual or their friends and family contact us. We are also not always aware of parishioners that are homebound and would desire a pastoral visit.

Please meet in the church hall. Coffee & donuts will be served. MCCL, Minnesota Citizens Concerned for Life, will be meeting on Monday, January 9, 2017 at 6 PM at St. Francis gathering space. We are looking for anyone who is interested in helping in this group or just being informed of what MCCL is. If interested, please plan to attend. We look forward to working together. APPLETON ALTAR SERVER TRAINING... Sunday, January 15 th after the 10:30 am Mass. All current servers and students wanting to become an altar server are asked to attend. 9 Days for Life January 21-29, Days for Life is an annual period of prayer and action focused on cherishing the gift of every person s life, at every stage and in every circumstance. Contained within the 9 Days for Life is the Day of Prayer for the Legal Protection of Unborn Children on January 22 (also the anniversary of Roe v. Wade). It is a time to not only pray for an end to abortion, but to pray for the respect and protection of each person s life; to gather together in prayer, action, and fellowship with others. Benson Weekend Bus Service Prairie Five RIDES weekend bus service is available throughout the City of Benson: Saturdays 8 am 12:30 pm and Sundays 7;30 am 12:30 pm.
