3 03 introduction The Parent s Portal is an online portal designed to help you monitor the learning progress of your child/ward. Through the portal, you can access the following information about your child/ward in Republic Polytechnic (RP): Student personal details Academic information Contact information of the mentor assigned to your child/ward Class schedule Assessment and examination schedule Continuous assessment and examination results Daily attendance Web results slip (available for a specified period after the release of examination results) Leave of absence application records Scholarships and bursaries Awards Registered events This portal can also be used to make a payment on behalf of your child/ward.

4 04 logging into the parent s portal To successfully log into the portal, the following requirements must be met: 1. Account pre-registration All parents/guardians of newly enrolled students will automatically be granted access to the Parent s Portal. If there is a need to create a new account, please Help-Registrar@rp.edu.sg with the following: Particulars of the parent/guardian* Particulars of child/ward* Scanned copy of NRIC (for parent/guardian) and Birth Certificate (for child/ward) It would require three working days for the request to be processed. 2. The parent/guardian must have a valid SingPass^. 3. Your child/ward must be an enrolled student in RP. 4. The parent/guardian must login with the Student ID and Date of Birth of the child/ ward, and complete the SingPass authentication within five minutes to prevent a time-out session. * Particulars include full name (as per NRIC/FIN), NRIC, address, contact number and mailing address ^ More information on SingPass can be found at LOGIN PAGE OF PARENT S PORTAL i ii Login with OneKey Token or Onekey SMS ANTHONY LEE CHOW SHENG Go to iii When the SingPass login page appears: Key in Student ID and the Student s Date of Birth. Click the Login via SingPass button upon completion. If there are issues encountered when logging into the portal, please Help-Registrar@rp.edu.sg with a screenshot of the error message.

5 05 Viewing information in the Parent s Portal Click on Student Center to view all the links and information that are available for your child/ward. 2. Note that the personal particulars of your child/ward will be displayed on the main page. 3. There will be a list of tabs at the bottom which will allow you to view various information related to your child/ward (for example: Term Results, Attendance and Leave of Absence). When the required tab is selected, the information will be displayed at the bottom section of the screen. Example 1: The modules taken, grades and cgpa of your child/ward can be viewed under the Term Results tab Example 2: The daily attendance of your child/ward for the modules assigned during the semester can be viewed under the Attendance tab

6 06 Accessing the Class Timetable and Detailed Academic Information Click on Student Center. 2. Under the Academics section: Click on the My Academics link to view the academic information (for example: the diploma name and specialisation track). Click on the My Classes link to view the class timetable. It will indicate the modules that the student has been assigned to for the semester and the class timetable. This information can be viewed through two options: Option 1: The List View option Option 2: The Weekly Calendar View option

7 07 Accessing the contact information of the mentor Click on Student Center. 2. Under the Mentor section on the right, click on details. The mentor s address and office number will be displayed. Phone

8 08 Making Payment Click on Student Center. 2. Click on the Make a Payment link. Indicate the payment amount. Click on Proceed with Payment when done.

9 09 Ensure that the Total Amount Payable is correct. Take note of the instructions and browser settings required for the epayment Gateway. Click on Confirm Payment when done. Read the Important Notes before proceeding further. Click on Make Payment when done. Please wait for the epayment Gateway to load. Do not close this window in the meantime. Otherwise, the payment will not be able to proceed. Take note of the RP epayment number and the payment amount indicated. Click Submit when done. You will be presented with two payment options. Click to select either payment by Credit/Debit Card or Internet Banking. Follow the instructions that are indicated for the payment option that you have selected. You are advised to verify the transaction details before completing the transaction. Take note of the epayment Transaction ID. Click the Print the receipt option if required.

10 10 Accessing multiple student information 1 1. Click on Sign Out at the top right corner of Student Center. Follow the steps on how to log into Parent s Portal on Page 4. Note that you will only be able to access one record in Parent s Portal at a time. You will need to log out and log in again to access the information of another child/ward.
