2 Day 1 Chitose Airport Asahikawa Have a relaxing day after traveling from overseas, to just enjoy the nature on route to your hotel. If you re arriving early, stop by at Sunagawa highway oasis for a native Hokkaido meal of Genghis Khan lamb barbecue. (Photo : Genghis Khan lamb barbecue) Day 2 Asahikawa - Sounkyo The destination for this day is Sounkyo. After a day of exciting activities in Asahikawa, you will be glad to arrive at the center of Hokkaido, welcomed by the magnificent mountains surrounding. After you ve had some time to relax at the hotel, go see the Hyobaku Ice festival! (Photo : Hyobaku Ice Festival, ice cave) Day 3 Sounkyo - Lake Shikaribetsu Start your day by just sitting back and relaxing, while you head to your destination, Lake Shikaribetsu. Once you arrive in the area, the Kotan Ice Village is where you want to go! Drink at an ice bar, and enjoy winter Hokkaido style. (Photo : Kotan Ice Village Ice bar) Day 4 Lake Shikaribetsu - Tomamu Your destination, Tomamu Resort. Arrive excited and ready for a day of fun snow activities! You will have a variety to choose from, to suit all ages. 3 Day 5 Tomamu - Furano Enjoy a fresh and early start, to enjoy some interesting Hokkaido activities. Starting with smelt fishing, you can enjoy fishing on a frozen lake, and then eat your catch, Tenpura deep fried, Japanese style. Also, you will get a glimpse at some of Hokkaido s major industry, farming, at Furano Cheese Factory. Don t forget to buy some cheese to munch on in the car! *Optional activities: We recommend the ice cream making activity at Furano Cheese Factory! (Photo : Ice fishing) Day 6 Furano - Sapporo You can start this day with a 30min optional hot air balloon flight, breath taking Furano scenery will awe you starting at 7:00 am! The Sapporo seafood market will satisfy all your seafood cravings. Enjoy the freshest seafood around at this market. Last but not least, the Sapporo Chocolate Factory. This activity can be enjoyed by all ages at any time of year! If you re keen, we can also include an optional cookie making activity for you and your group! You have a whole day to explore the main city of Hokkaido! Sapporo city has much to offer, from shops to sightseeing and even some snow activities if you re still wanting to pump that adrenaline! Tanuki-koji shopping arcade, Sapporo clock tower, snowmobiling to mention a few. If you want to experience some Japanese fun, make your way to down town Susukino area. Go on an adventure! 4 night districts north of Tokyo. Our suggestion? Susukino Ramen Alley. Treat yourself to some of the best Ramen in town. Not keen on Ramen? There are many kinds of restaurants and Izakaya (Japanese style bars) to choose from in this area, so feel free to explore and get acquainted with the Japanese city & night life.
