2 WELCOME TO THE ASHTON Located just outside of Bristol, The Ashton is the ideal venue for your next event or celebration. With our stunning bar, cosy restaurant, spacious terrace and two private meeting rooms, we can provide the perfect space for any occasion. The roaring open fire and comfortable armchairs make our bar area the perfect spot to while away an afternoon with friends. In the summer months, why not enjoy your drinks outside on our beautiful terrace which boasts views of rolling countryside. Our beautifully renovated restaurant is ideal for enjoying our delicious freshly prepared menus. If you re planning a larger family meal, why not enquire about exclusive use of one of the stylishly decorated restaurant areas. If you re joining us for business as well as pleasure, we have two beautiful meeting rooms which can be hired individually or together for a larger function. The Smyth Room and The Dovecote Room are located on the first floor of the building and are ideal for your next business meeting or networking event. Our stunning building and beautiful terrace, warm hospitality and delicious freshly prepared menus will mean that your event is one to remember. 2
3 BUSINESS MEETINGS AND CORPORATE EVENTS Our two private meeting rooms provide the ideal space for your next business meeting or corporate event. The two well equipped rooms are located on the first floor of the building and can accommodate up to 20 people in various different layouts. Both The Dovecote Room and The Smyth Room have: TV Screens Flipcharts Tea and coffee making facilities Complimentary WiFi The Smyth Room even benefits from access to its own private garden; perfect for break out space or even an al fresco lunch in the summer months. If you require break out space for separate groups, or would like a change of scenery for your refreshments, both of our meeting rooms can be hired together. TV screens and flip charts are provided with the hire of The Smyth Room and The Dovecote Room. Tea and coffee making facilities are available in the meeting rooms as well as the option of a buffet lunch served in the room. Complimentary WiFi is available throughout the venue. Our function rooms can be set out in a number of different styles to suit your function requirements: Room Layout Maximum Capacity The Dovecote Room The Smyth Room Theatre Boardroom Networking Our team of skilled chefs can provide a wide range of refreshments to suit your needs; from lunch buffets or evening meals. Buffet meals can be served directly into the meeting rooms or book a table in our beautiful restaurant for a change of scenery. We will also ensure that all of your drinks needs are catered for; make use of the tea and coffee facilities in the rooms or order drinks to be served to the room. If a private meeting room is a little too formal for your meeting, our bar area is ideal for a casual coffee or lunch to catch up with clients. Tables can be reserved for parties of up to 8 and an area can be reserved for informal meetings for up to 16 people. Our Sales & Events Manager will work with you to ensure that all of your requirements are catered for. The dedicated Events Coordinator and experienced team at The Ashton will be there on the day of your event to ensure that everything runs smoothly and that you have everything you need. 4 PARTIES, CELEBR ATIONS AND GROUP DINING From Christenings to birthdays, office parties to family meals, The Ashton is the perfect place for your next celebration. There are a number of spaces available to book depending on your occasion. There are a number of different spaces available to book for your celebration: Our beautiful bar area is ideal for a drinks party or informal meal. The roaring log fire and comfortable seating make it a really warm and welcoming space. In the summer months, food and drink can be enjoyed on our beautiful terrace; our fire pits make it the perfect space for lazy afternoons to turn into balmy summer evenings. For a delicious sit down meal, look no further than our beautifully decorated restaurant. Enjoy our fresh, seasonal menus in stylish surroundings with another beautiful open fire; the perfect setting for any special meal. For a larger group, or if you were thinking of a more informal buffet for a baby shower, Christening or family reception; our Silver room and Rose room can be booked exclusively. We also have a bar area which is ideal for smaller functions. The comfy seating and laid back atmosphere make the space perfect for birthday drinks, pre-wedding canapés or a family get together. The Silver room is a cosy panelled room which is ideal for up to 28 people to dine. It offers a secluded space with plenty of character. The Rose room can seat up to 25 people and benefits from a stunning picture window to watch the world go by. Both rooms are perfect for birthday parties, family meals and Christmas celebrations alike. Our team of skilled chefs can provide a wide range of menus to suit your event; from canapés to buffets, sharing platters to three course meals. 5 FOOD AND DRINKS Here at The Ashton, we are proud to offer delicious fresh food and a wide selection of premium drinks to accompany your event. Whether you need a working buffet lunch to keep you going through a meeting, a sumptuous three course meal for a special occasion or some fancy canapés to impress at a drinks party, our wonderful brigade of chefs will be able to provide something you ll love. We re able to provide delicious breakfasts, lunches and dinners as well as snacks to suit your schedule and requirements. Food can be served either plated or buffet style dependant on what works best for your event. Our Sales & Events Manager will be happy to put together a drinks package for you based on your needs. Every event has a different timescale and different refreshment needs.
