2 KEVIN SPACEY IN CONCERT Held at Shakespeare Theatre at the Harman Center for the Arts, this exclusive one-night-only concert will be an entertaining evening of stories and song by the two-time Academy Award winner and star of the Netflix hit series, House of Cards. A unique opportunity to hear this gifted artist perform standards from the swing era, and popular classics from the Great American Song Book accompanied by a full Big Band.
3 SUPPER AND AFTER PARTY An elegant cocktail reception and supper will immediately follow the concert on the outside terrace of Poste, located in the Hotel Monaco D.C. Unlike traditional galas, the atmosphere will be informal and inviting. The open floor plan and intimate seating areas will ensure the great and good of arts, business, entertainment and politics can mix effortlessly.
4 THE KEVIN SPACEY FOUNDATION The Kevin Spacey Foundation (KSF) delivers initiatives that discover, train and mentor emerging artists in drama, dance, music, and film. It supports scholarships for young artists, gives grants to enable the creation of new work, offers educational opportunities, and provides mentorships by respected artists. KSF Grants have supported 600 emerging artists and 83 companies; KSF Scholarships currently enable 14 undergraduates to attend university and KSF Learning Projects develop aspiration through theatre-in-education. KSF also supports local initiatives in the D.C. and Baltimore areas. All proceeds of the Gala will directly support the programs of The Kevin Spacey Foundation.
