4 11th EU Swim 2016 Swimmers Without Borders Hosted By Bulado Swimming Club The 11th BULADO MEET 2016 Bulado Swimming Club cordially invites you to participate in the 11 th EU Swim 2016 Swimming Without Borders Hosted By Bulado Swimming Club The 11 th BULADO MEET 2016, to be held at S.O.V. Asiento, Rust & Burgh in Curaçao from Friday, October 14 th to Sunday, October 16 th SANCTIONED BY: HOST: Curacao Aquatic Federation (FAK): Sanction nr.: CUR SW Bulado Swimming Club, Curacao DATE: October 14, 15, and 16, POOL COURSE: TIMING: ELIGIBILITY: ENTRY LIMIT: ENTRY FEES: SCRATCHES: ENTRY FORMAT: S.O.V. Asiento 8 lanes, 25 meter pool. Timing System will be used. Swimmer must be registered with their own swimming federation to participate. Each team will be limited to four (4) competitors per individual event and one (1) team per relay event. The hosting team Bulado Swimming Club may enter more than four (4) competitors per individual events, and more than one (1) relay team per event. No alternates or substitutes will be allowed in individual events. In relay events, each team may enter four (4) competitors, but two members of the relay team, must be duly entered in the championship. The name of the relay only competitors must be entered in advance. For all swimmers the legal names and current Swimming Registration Number must be listed on the Entry Form, including "relay-only" swimmers. The Master Entry Form must accompany the entry lists. No competitor may participate out of his/her age group. Also we need a list with all names and positions of Coach(es), Delegate, officials and so on. All events are timed final USD per swimmer including a meet T-Shirt, USD per relay team and 7.50 USD per swimmer facility charges. Payment should be made by bank transfer at MCB (Maduro & Curiel s Bank N.V.) account number or at the technical meet. Entries fees are non-refundable. Scratches without payment can be sent till Friday October 1 st 2016, EST. Entries are preferred via in USA Swimming SDIF format or Hy-Tek CL2 format. As well the entries can be done by entering the Entry Excel File, downloadable from our web site at Errors in entries submitted are the responsibility of the applicant. 5 DECK ENTRIES: SEEDING: WARMUP SCHEDULE: ENTRY DEADLINE: PROTEST: JURY OF APEAL: Deck entries may be accepted by the Meet Referee or his/her designee, up to 45 minutes before the start of the session under the following conditions: - Fees must be paid at time of entry ($10.00 per event). - Facility fee must be paid unless swimmer is already entered. - A swimmer may not scratch an event to deck enter an event. - A swimmer must provide their own counter for distance events 25 meter short course times will be used for seeding. Conversions may be made using the formula in the current Handbook of FINA conversion. Warm up lanes for each session will be assigned to each team prior to the meet start. Use times since January 1 st, Pre-registration must be received by Friday, September 30, 2016, EST. Final Registration must be received by Friday October 1 st 2016, EST. No exceptions. No substitutions or alternates will be accepted after the final entries have been submitted, except in relays. Confirmation for electronic entries will be sent via . All protests to the Referees Decision must be submitted to the referee in writing within 30 minutes after the event, signed by the Team delegate and accompanied by US $25. If the protest is upheld the fee will be returned to the delegate. A. There shall be a Jury of Appeal to adjudicate all appeals against a Referee s rejection of a protest. B. The Jury of Appeal shall be comprised of 3 disinterested persons pointed by the Curacao Aquatic Association. AGE: Age of the swimmer on December 31, CATEGORIES: 8 and under, 9-10, 11-12, 13-14, 15-17, 18& over 24 Masters: 25 39, 40 54, 55 and over AWARDS: Age groups 8 and under, 9-10, 11-12, 13-14, 15-17: Individual events: medals 1st-3 rd. Ribbons 4th - 8th place for 10 and under Relays: Medals 1st 2nd 3rd High Point Trophy for 1st place in each category based on the best scored "single' event using the Hy-Tek Age Group points system. Masters: 18 24, 25 39, 40 54, 55 and over. Individual events: medals 1st - 3 rd. The Monique Maria Performance Award. This award will be presented to the male athlete who has the best scored "single event overall, based on the Hy-Tek Age Group points system. The EU Swim Without Border Performance Award. This award will be presented to the female athlete who has the best scored "single" event overall, based on the Hy-Tek Age Group points system. Master will be scored and will not participate in Scoring for the high point trophy, Monique Maria Performance Award and The EU Swim Without Border Performance Award.

Only the first 4 swimmers individual events will be scored. All events are timed finals. Each participating club is responsible for their own air transportation, visa and accommodation costs. We can help, support arrange transportation from the airport to your hotel. Teams with housing, transportation and meals requests will be handled on a first come first serve basis. A technical meeting will be held on Thursday, October 13, 2016 at 20:00 at S.O.V. Asiento Rust and Burgh. Participating teams are invited to submit names of officials willing to serve as officials during the meet. Meet management may opt to use fly-over starts at this competition, (where swimmers will not be permitted to exit the water until the next heat of swimmers has started). OPENING: CLOSING: CONSESSIONS: SWIM SHOP: CAMARA ZONES: Opening ceremonies will be on Saturday October 15, 2016 at 09:00 at the pool. Teams and officials are required to wear their uniforms. Closing ceremonies, awards presentation and farewell Party will be on Sunday, October 16, 2016, one hour after the meet at the pool. (approx. 2:00 pm). Details on a farewell party will be released prior to the entry deadline. SOV Asiento will be selling on side food items and drinks, restaurant facilities during the meet. There will be a swim shop selling the latest selection of technical training equipment and competitive suits on Saturday and Sunday. Meet Management will designate and inform the public of Camera Zones for this swim meet where both still photography and video photography of a race or a race competitor in a race may be taken. Acceptable Camera Zones may include, but are not limited to the side courses of a pool, team gathering areas, concession areas, turn- end of competition course when not in use as a start-end, etc. Meet Management will also also designate Non-Camera Zones. Under NO circumstances will Camera Zones include the area immediately behind the starting blocks at either end of the racing course(s) while they are in use for race starting purposes during competition and warm-ups, locker rooms, restrooms, or any other dressing area. Any individual failing to abide by this rule could be subject to the authorities for Swimming Code of Conduct violation as defined in Sporting Laws Rules of Curacao.
