Visa requirements depend on your nationality. Please see the following visa requirements announced by Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Republic of Korea. If you are from the countries under visa exemption agreement, nationals of countries or regions allowed for visa-free entry, you are NOT REQUIRED to apply for temporary visitor visas to enter Korea, in general. Access & Accommodation Access to Sogang University Sogang University is in Sinchon, the heart of Seoul. All major attractions can be easily reached by bus or subway, with three subway stations within a 5-minute walking distance. Sinchon is the center of youth and culture overflowing with vibrant energy and romance. Sogang University, located in the center of Sinchon, breathes spontaneous energy into the hearts of our youth. Campus Map: How to get to Sogang: For guests staying at Jesuit Apostolic Center SJ dormitory (Jesuit Apostolic Center: JAC) is reserved for participants who are SJ. Please see the following website for details: Address: 1587 Sangam-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul , Korea Tel: / Fax: / WEBSITE: Travel Information Airport transportation From Incheon (ICN) International Airport to Sogang University (Jesuit Apostolic Center) Right outside of the arrival floor of the Airport, there are 23 bus stops. You will find a bus stop, "5B or 12A". The limousine bus, numbered 6002, will take you to Sinchon Station. It will take about 50 minutes to get to Sinchon by the limousine bus. The fare for the limousine is KRW 10,000 (about USD 9). Sogang University is a 8 minutes' walk from Exit no. 6 at Sinchon

3 Station. For Further Information. Another way to get to Sogang University is to take the airport train AREX ( to Hongik University or Gong Deok Station. From the arrival hall at the airport, go down to B1 floor and follow signs to Transportation Center. It takes about 40~50 minutes and costs about KRW 4,000. From Hongik University or Gong Deok Station, take a taxi and ask the taxi driver to drop you off at the rear gate (pronounced "hoo-moon") of Sogang University. It takes minutes depending on the traffic conditions and cost about KRW 3,000 to 4,000. (The closer station to Sogang University would be Gong Deok Station) You may also take a taxi on the first floor of the airport. There are three kinds of taxis; Regular, Deluxe, and Jumbo. The fare of the Regular taxi to Sogang University is approximately KRW 50,000 (about USD 45), while the fare of the Deluxe or Jumbo cab costs much more. Make sure to carry enough taxi fee with you because the fee is subject to change. For Further Information. From Gimpo (GMP) International Airport to Sogang University (Jesuit Apostolic Center) To get to Sogang, take the subway Line no. 9 from Gimpo International Airport Station and transfer to the Green Line no. 2 at Dangsan Station, and finally, get off at 'SINCHON' (stop #240), get out Exit no. 6 and you can arrive at main entrance within 8 minutes on foot. Or take the Line no. 6 and get off at 'DAEHEUNG' (stop #625), get out Exit no. 1 and you can reach the south entrance within 12 minutes on foot. The basic fare starts at 1,000 won (about USD 1) and increases according to distance. Most announcement signs are in Korean, English and Chinese. For Further Information. 6 Weather Average temperature in Seoul for the month of August is 24 to 33 (about 75 to 91 ). For weather report, you can visit the website of Korea Meteorological Administration, (You can find the weather report under FORECAST.) Currency Most shops in Seoul take only Korean Won. Currency exchange service (USD/EUR/JPY/CNY/AUD KRW) can be done at the bank counters of Incheon International Airport branch. Electricity Electricity in Korea is 220 Volts. If you travel to Korea with a device that does not accept 220 Volts, you will need a voltage converter.
