During the program, a number of gastroenterology and hepatology related topics will be explored including eosinophilic esophagitis, Barrett s esophagus, postoperative Crohn s disease, enteral feeding, serrated polpys and polyposis, colonoscopy complications, anorectal bleeding, fecal incontinence, sphincter of Oddi dysfunction, pancreatic cysts, surgical approach to malignant lesions of the liver, clotting disorders in liver disease, and an update on the treatment of HCV. Case-based discussions with fellows and panel discussions with expert faculty will occur allowing the participants to gain practical application of key learning points. This program is designed for gastroenterologists, primary care physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners and nurses interested in the latest information on diagnostic GI and state of the art treatment of these illnesses. This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education through the joint providership of the ACG, the Virginia Gastroenterological Society, and the Old Dominion Society of Gastroenterology Nurses and Associates. The American College of Gastroenterology is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians. The American College of Gastroenterology designates this live activity for a maximum of 10 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits. Each physician should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation. 5 Accommodations and Registration Information Accommodations Rooms are available at the Williamsburg Lodge and at the Woodlands Hotel and Suites. Reservations for both hotels can be made by calling (mention booking code for special group rates), or online by going to Special group rates at the Williamsburg Lodge are $232 for a Deluxe Room and $190 for a Superior Room. The special group rate at the Woodlands Hotel and Suites is $142 for a Standard Room. An additional $2 per day occupancy tax will apply to either hotel. Reservations must be made by August 22, Requests for reservations after this date will be on a space available basis only. All reservations must be accompanied by a first night s room deposit for room and tax (10%). Individual deposits are refundable, provided notice of cancellation is received by the hotel at least three (3) days prior to arrival. Reservations may be charged to Discover, VISA, MasterCard, American Express and Diner s Club. Credit card deposits are charged at the time the reservation is made. The Williamsburg Lodge is located at 310 South England Street and is directly adjacent to the Colonial Williamsburg Historic Area. The Woodlands Hotel and Suites is conveniently located at the Visitor Center for Colonial Williamsburg at 105 Visitor Center Drive. Please note that there is no shuttle service between the Woodlands Hotel and the Williamsburg Lodge. Registration The registration fee includes a course syllabus and some meals. All registrants must pay the full registration fee; one-day registration or other partial registration is not available. Full refund of registration fees will be given, less a $25 administrative fee, if written notice of cancellation is received by ACG no later than August 22, No refunds will be given after this date.
