There will be multiple CPD and other one hour interactive sessions such as non-ischemic cardiac chest pain and pediatric emergencies on Saturday, all specifically targeted to the rural locum. There will be daily opportunities to meet with your colleagues and share some of the daily challenges and highlights of rural locum work. Mentorship and peer support will be encouraged. And we promise it will be fun and light-hearted!

Medical, trauma and obstetric emergency management are featured. The focus is appropriate to the realities of rural practice and will provide attendees with the skills they need in the Emergency Department Paramedics: $100 Physicians: FULL Nurses: FULL 5.0 ACLS: Advanced Cardiac Life Support Provider Update Fri Feb MAX: 8 This one-day ACLS Course is to allow the healthcare provider who has previously been successful in an ACLS course within the last two years to update and be re-evaluated in the knowledge and skills required to quickly recognize those patients at risk and respond to cardio-respiratory emergencies. (Prerequisite: BLS) 6.25 Physicians: $975 Physicians: $350 BLS: Basic Life Support Thu Feb MAX: 12 BLS is for those who, as part of their job description as health-care providers, have a duty to respond to medical emergencies.
