3 Civil Ceremonies and Receptions at Picton Castle & Gardens What could be more romantic than to exchange vows in the magnificent Great Hall. This elegant room can accommodate up to 100 guests for your celebration. For more intimate occasions the Regency or White and Gold Drawing Rooms are also available. The marquee site for your reception is on the sheltered north lawn of the castle which opens onto the castle lawns and provides an enchanting atmosphere for your special day, and a lovely backdrop for photographs. The Sparkling Wine Reception is held in the state rooms of the castle allowing your guests to enjoy their glass of bubbly in elegant surroundings after the ceremony.

Bridal couples have shown lots of imagination in booking their wedding transport. We have seen everything from a host of different horse-drawn vehicles and fabulous vintage cars to modern limos - even helicopters on the south lawn! Our dedicated team will be on hand to greet early guests, giving them the choice of gathering in the Great Hall, enjoying the gardens or perhaps popping into our Restaurant for tea. For your musical accompaniment you are welcome to use our beautiful Steinway grand piano. The acoustics in the Great Hall are perfect so that whatever your choice of music, the sound will be glorious. We will make sure it is a day you will never forget.

5 Winter Weddings Our special Winter Wedding Package is a new development for those of you who require a smaller ceremony at this wonderful time of year and is available November through to March. This Winter Special includes the Ceremony in the Great Hall with the roaring log fire adding to the atmosphere. The Sparkling Wine Reception is in the state rooms of the historic castle, followed by a three course meal in our Courtyard Restaurant for up to 40 Guests. 6 Memorable weddings don t just happen they re planned Choose Pembrokeshire s most romantic venue for a wedding to exceed your wildest dreams Catering Our celebrity chef Maria Grimwood has appeared on television with Nigel Slater and in 2014 had the honour of preparing luncheon for Her Majesty the Queen and His Royal Highness the Duke of Edinburgh and their guests. Maria s passion for food begins with selecting the best quality local ingredients and she and her team will design a menu to suit your personal taste and budget. Flowers We have an excellent in-house florist who can help you design those essential floral decorations and bouquets to match your dreams for the castle and the marquee for your memorable day. Practical Considerations If you have a wedding ceremony in the castle, you will have exclusive use of the rooms for up to two hours, starting one hour before the time of the ceremony. Fireworks are permitted if they are booked with West Coast Fireworks of Narberth. Like many venues, confetti is not permitted. West Lodge is perfect for two couples, small families or wedding guests whilst East Lodge is the perfect romantic retreat for the newly-weds. Guests staying at the Lodges benefit from garden passes which give free access to our award winning gardens throughout the period of their stay. Both properties have full central heating, with bedding and towels provided, parking and the option of delicious take-home meals from Maria Picton, our Courtyard Restaurant & Deli. We have stayed at this lovely lodge several times compact, quirky and comfortable.
