Handicap requirements to comply with IBC Chapter 11 and ICC/ANSI All design work for the addition has been performed with the utmost care to comply with accessibility requirements of IBC and ADAAG(ICC/ANSI all ). Please refer to architectural drawings and details. 2. Fire barriers to comply with IBC 706. Note: Two hour separation of break room required. Plans do not comply. See IBC Table Please see attached revised architectural plans showing two hour separation of break room per IBC 2003 table Penetrations of fire rated assemblies to be firestopped per IBC 712. Provide copies of all firestopping submittals to the inspectors showing all systems to be installed. Will comply. Firestopping submittals for all penetrations of fire rated assemblies will be submitted to Building Official by the Building contractor, prior to installation of firestopping 4. Maintain required means of egress during construction per IBC The building contract and owner will maintain required means of egress at all times during construction, demolitions, and additions to the existing facilities per IBC Submit information showing compliance with State Energy Code. Please see attached ComCheck- Energy Code compliance Certificate signed by Design Professionals.

See E-6.1 Exterior Emergency Lighting (X2) were provided. 8. Smoke and heat vents are required per IBC Activation to comply with Montgomery Fire Department requirements. See attached revised drawings A-012 showing smoke and heat vents per IBC 2003, Activation to comply with Montgomery Fire Department Requirements. 9. Women s restroom vent riser has the following violations: a. First Water Closet downstream of all fixtures. See P-2 & P-4, relocated vent stack to the first water closet. b. Water closet located on floor drain line is required to be vented. See P-2 & P-4, provided vent for water closet and floor drain. 10. Equipment supplied by an electrical feeder or branch circuit will bear the stamp of approval from a nationally recognized testing laboratory or be certified by a State of Alabama registered electrical engineer. The engineer must use a recognized standard for completing a third party field evaluation. This includes large and small equipment installed as a unit. See E-7.1 Added General Notes 11. Fire Department Access and Roads shall be provided and/or maintained in accordance with NFPA 1 Section The Building Contractor will provide and maintain Fire Department Access Roads in accordance with NFPA 1 Section 18.2 during and after construction 2.
