Between 2014 and 2019 alone, around EUR 1.5 billion will be spent on establishing a comprehensive broadband infrastructure. The large metropolitan regions of Munich and Nuremberg are already well-connected, with fibre optic cables allowing speeds of over 100 Mbit/s. Slide 35
