2 Purpose and participants Client: An international IT company Delegates: 100 managers from 8 different countries Purpose of the meeting: The company has a new CEO and a new strategy. Therefore the purpose of the meeting is: The delegates have to take ownership to the strategy The delegates have to feel inspired and get new ideas to implement the strategy on their market The delegates across borders get a chance to meet and exchange knowledge

3 Before the meeting One month before the meeting in Denmark, the strategy is presented via a video conference After the video conference the 100 managers are asked to present the strategy to their department and encourage the employees to give their input to how the strategy can be implemented on their market Pre evaluation: Understand of the strategy Agree on the strategy Feel motivated to implement the strategy Meetovation element: ROI and Active involvement Spending time before the meeting to involve and prepare the participants, your chances increase of getting a better outcome The participants feel involved and motivated already before the meeting Evaluation

4 Arrival day (late afternoon) The participants check in at STAY Copenhagen Hotel Everybody meet for at welcome drink on the roof terrace A Danish Michelin chef introduces a recipe for a typical Nordic dish In smaller groups the participants prepare the dinner in the apartment kitchens and enjoy the dinner in nice homely surroundings Meetovation elements: Active involvement, Local Inspiration By starting with a social activity you set the scene for the atmosphere of the meeting: friendly and informal Helps achieve the goal of creating better networking between colleagues across borders Give the participants a unique Danish experience the Danes tend to cook at home, and typically Nordic food, instead of going out.

5 Day 1 - venue The participants are picked up by a boat and sail to the venue for their meeting: The Royal Opera House On the way they are asked to talk two by two with somebody they don t know, about their expectations Meetovation elements local inspiration and active involvement By sailing you give the participants a unique Danish experience By asking them to talk to each other about their expectations you support the networking and start focusing their minds on the meeting

6 Day 1 - Program Welcome Morning gymnastics in the Royal Ballet rehearsal room trained by a royal Danish ballet dancer Plenum session Active involvement: Breaking up the presentation by e.g. time for reflection, discussions in smaller groups, walk and talk Break Nordic fruit juice and healthy snacks Mini performance by royal dancers Group sessions Facilitated sessions using different areas in and outside the Opera House Inspiration session A royal Danish actor gives his perspective on implementing the new strategy. A different angle on your challenges can often generate new creative ideas Networking lunch After lunch, energizer A special guided tour of the Royal Danish Opera House Speed dating The participants share ideas for successful implementation of the strategy Round up energizer Singing lesson by a royal opera singer Creative physical set up: Music Lots of light Using indoor and outdoor locations for the meeting Plenum set up no tables, only different kind of chairs that can be moved around to fit all purposes, e.g.. dialogue in different groups, speed dating etc.

7 Day 1 - evening Dinner at Geranium, Parken one of Denmark's many Michelin starred restaurants with the world's best chef Rasmus Kofoed Football match at Parken between to two best Danish Teams A Copenhagen Cocktail at the Copenhagen Meat packing district, Kødbyen

8 Day 2 - venue The participants are picked up by rickshaws and transported to the venue - DGI-byen On the way they are asked to talk two by two about what they got out of the meeting on day 1

9 Day 2 - program Welcome - MINDfuldness activity on the roof terace to clear the participants mind and get ready for a new day Plenum session - Active involvement: Time for reflection, plenum presentation as an interview, participants write questions and put them in a hat the facilitator ask the speaker the questions Break - Fresh fruit and vegetables snacks energy shots - A lot of toys that the participant can play with if they wish: balls, juggling balls, jump ropes, table tennis, table football etc. Group session - The participants make an action plan for implementing the strategy on their market using brainstorm cards. Lunch - Picnic in groups the participants get a picnic basket with recipes and ingredients to prepare their own Danish open sandwiches Teambuliding - The participants get to choose between the great variety of activities: Human football, bowling, climbing, shooting, wellness etc. Round up session in the pool area - The participants have an evaluation session while having a food bath and listening to relaxing music and surrounded by relaxing lighting
