1 Thanks to the introduction of the 3D graphic configurator, the GIOTTO MobilCAD Furniture Solution SILVER allows the parametric graphic design of any type of furniture or interior design feature, together with the components and furniture supplied in the large graphic library (a library of more than 20,000 parametric designs of furniture for kitchens, bathrooms, living-rooms, children s bedrooms, etc.). This solution allows any type of interior (including those comprising several rooms) to be furnished quickly and easily. What s more, an additional set of modules which allow the design to be completed with, for example, realistic photographs (rendering module), or a series of printouts and attachments which the user can customize with all the relevant information. LIBRARY OF PARAMETRIC FURNITURE This library is made of a wide range of standard parametric 3D pieces of furniture according to the latest market trends in many sectors (Kitchen, Living Room, Bedroom, Office, etc.). The user can expand and customize the library according to his specific needs and change the information related to the pieces of furniture (e.g. take off or add a finishing, a handle, etc.).

2 ARCHITECTURAL CAD It allows users to design the interior, drawing the architectural plans (ground plans of individual rooms, with windows, doors, structural constraints, etc.) where furniture and interior design accessories will then be placed. Drawing of the rooms allows rapid 3D display of architectural forms. Ceilings, doors and windows can be entered with different shapes and sizes. All architectural features are parametrically designed and can be modified at any time. PARAMETRIC 3D CAD Allows parametric drawing and design of individual furniture units, which can be used to furnish the customer s room, in combination with components and furniture from the vast graphic library if required. DXF MODULE This module allows to export compositions in DXF format, which can be managed by other graphic software, such as AutoCAD. The composition can be saved with its furniture, walls, measures and texts. INTERIOR DESIGN MODULE Allows the user to design the furnishing of any type of single or multiple interior with the greatest of ease. What s more, with the aid of a series of automated routines, linking points and coordinates, the user can also enter and position the furniture and interior design accessories precreated in libraries correctly and immediately, also managing the graphic adaptation of custom-sized furniture units. The interior designed can then be illustrated in the form of a plan, elevation or isometric or perspective view. QUOTATION MODULE Allows the operator to generate the quotation for the customer in its various forms (parametric printout configurable by the user), with the list of articles in the graphic composition designed and their respective prices.

3 RENDERING MODULE The Rendering module allows the elaboration and printing of photorealistic views of the composition. The designer can set multiple levels of article visualization, depending on his requirements: if the priority is working quickly, the module will allow to select a low, wireframe visualization. If the priority is to show all detail, the module will allow to select the highest level of visualization. The integrated photo re-touching tool helps the user to modify the final image in order to achieve the best possible result. COMPONENT LIST Allows generation and printout of the list of articles which make up the graphic composition designed. WIZARD MODULE The Wizard module helps the salesperson and/or the interior designer to produce a fast and customized drawing and composition. The user defines company specific construction rules through wizards. Designing a room according to the customer wishes becomes, thanks to this module, easier and faster. PRODUCT CONFIGURATOR The GIOTTO 3D parametric furniture configurator allows the creation of parametric elements and articles (i.e. cabinets, wardrobes, etc.) which can be stored in the library. As a result, it is possible to upload inside the software the catalogues and the price lists of the furniture company. Any piece of furniture comes along with its core information (i.e. price, code, etc.) and can be easily customized adding finishing (i.e. colour, graphical variants, etc.). The software is also equipped with very powerful features that allows the automatic insertion of plinths, worktops, cuts, drillings, up-stands and shelves.

4 Compare the versions ADDITIONAL MODULES Thanks to its open architecture, GIOTTO MobilCAD can be gradually expanded with additional modules of interest to the customer. GRAPHIC LABELS & PACKING LISTS This module is equipped of a powerful packaging rules generator and allows to show on the label a front elevation of the composition with the cabinet contained in the single box highlighted. This feature turns out very helpful as a guide for the furniture final assembly. It is also possible to print barcodes on the labels in order to monitor the loading of the items by the use of an optical pen. The software also allows to print a structured list resuming all the packages heading to a given order. This output is very useful to load/ unload the order to the final destination. BASIC PRODUCTION COSTS Allows calculation of the production costs or final selling price. The production cost is calculated as the sum of the cost of the raw materials and the cost of the processing steps needed to produce the furniture unit/component/composition. The final selling price is established on the basis of the product cost calculated.

5 DATA CREATION AND EXPORT TO ERP SOFTWARE This module allows integration of GIOTTO in the ERP system as a product configurator. This module will be configured starting from the specific features of the ERP system implemented in Client s company. Any software customization to interface GIOTTO with the ERP system will be quoted apart. OBJ EXPORT MODULE The module allows designs produced in Giotto MobilCAD to be exported, enabling their importation into the main rendering programs, including Autodesk 3D Studio. The automatic transfer of all the model s information drastically reduces rendering preparation times. The exported file contains the entire scene, including the walls, floor, doors and windows. The naming of the objects allows parts of furniture units to be identified fast, while the data structure allows action on any object within the unit. As well as the three-dimensional model, the materials used in Giotto MobilCAD are also exported, for a swift rendering check on the assignment of the materials within the scene, allowing the operator to replace them quickly with the specific materials of the rendering motor used. AUTOCAD INTEGRATION MODULE This module allows the functions and capabilities of AutoCAD to be combined with those of GIOTTO MobilCAD, to complete, define and display the interior design scheme starting from the architectural design produced using AutoCAD 1. The integration of the two software packages is a more complete, state-of-the-art solution, in line on the one hand with the main construction needs of architects and interior designers and on the other with the need for an immediate, complete tool for illustrating the project s furnishing solutions. ¹AutoCAD from 2011 release upward.
