2 LINES Valbonne Valbonne is LINES first centre in the Côte d Azur, France. LINES Valbonne is based in the French Riviera, a region that is close to locations such as St Tropez, Cannes, Grasse, Nice etc. LINES Valbonne is part of a beautiful campus. LINES Valbonne is approximately 35 minutes from Nice Int l Airport, and 30 minutes from Cannes. The school has private access and is set in idylic surroundings. LINES offers a personal meet and greet service to and from Nice Int l Airport. From the moment of arrival until departure LINES takes responsibility for the welfare of each of its students. LINES offers an intensive academic program for French at Valbonne. The program welcomes beginners and accepts all levels right through to advanced. There are 2 age groups at LINES Valbonne: Juniors and Seniors. The age range is from 10 to 18 years. LINES encourages a strong international mix of students. Students will be welcome from all corners of the world, Brazil, Japan, Italy, Spain, Russia, China, Turkey, France etc. LINES is excited about 2017 and opening its centre in Valbonne. LINES is no stranger to the country having been active for 20 years in France. There is a strong emphasis on immersion and students are encouraged to speak French at each opportunity. The program is residential, all students and staff remain on campus during their stay.

4 LINES Workshops Workshops are a very important part of the LINES experience. They provide an active learning environment where students can interact and communicate using the French language. 2 x 45 minutes are dedicated to workshops daily. Students will undertake their chosen workshop for a period of 1 week, after which they can change. Workshops should be selected during enrolment to ensure a place in chosen workshop. 5 LINES Tutorials Tutorials are an important aspect of the students academic day. 2 x 45 minutes are dedicated to tutorials daily. Tutorials are a great opportunity for students to get the most from their experience inside the classroom. Teachers use tutorials to ensure that students are managing their work and understand what materials they are covering in class. LINES regards tutorial lessons as vital because they allow Students to get extra help Teachers to revise work done in class Teachers to discuss about academic excursions Students and teachers to discuss any problems Students to complete any work or tasks set out in class Students to share their experiences

6 LINES Activities LINES runs its own activity program. All of the activities outlined below are included in the fee. Activities provide an opportunity for LINES students to practice their French in a native speaking environment. Students will get the opportunity to select an activity each day. 7 LINES Excursions E S xcursions are an important part of the academic program. The LINES program will allow students to enhance their learning and cultural experience while practicing their French. tudents will get to explore some of the main attractions of the French Riviera. 1 x Mid-Week and 1 Weekend excursion are included in the basic fee. 8 LINES Pro Activity LINES Optional Excursions LINES offers an additional professional sport activity to its students. Tennis is run with qualified professionals. A minimum of 4 participants are required in order for the activity to take place. Reservations should be made during the enrolment process in order to guarantee a place. This is highly recommended as places are limited and sell fast. These activities are an additional cost and not included in the basic fee. Prices are available upon request, office@lines.ac Additional to the planned weekday and weekend excursions are optional excursions. These extras take place on Thursdays each week.
