1 Center for Women s Reproductive Care at Columbia University Physician Profile Our Team The CWRC provides both basic and advanced fertility care through an interdisciplinary team of qualified physicians, nurses, nursing assistants, social workers, embryologists, and administrative, billing, reception, and support staff, all of whom are committed to our philosophy of care. Our group practice at the CWRC consists of a staff of eleven (11) physicians who are all qualified to provide you with fertility care. All of our faculty participate in the same managed care plans to ensure a seamless managed care experience for you. While each patient has a primary physician responsible for managing their care within the group context, our group of physicians share responsibility for the care of every patient. This group-provided fertility care management enables Columbia University to deliver safe and effective care 365 days per year, as well as the benefit from collaboration and shared research. We are committed to helping educate patients about their conditions and involving patients in the planning of their care. During the course of your treatment at the CWRC, you may be seen by most, if not every physician in the practice, both male and female, and we cannot guarantee that you will be seen by any particular physician during any unscheduled visits.
