3 Admission Procedure for Full-Time Programmes (PGDM & PGDM (HCPM) ) 1. Eligibility:- a) Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM): Graduate in any discipline from a recognized Indian University can apply for the PGDM Programme. b) Post Graduate Diploma in Management (Health Care & Pharmaceutical Management (PGDM(HCPM)): Applicants who have passed B.Pharm, B.Sc. (Biology, Chemistry, Bio-Chemistry, Life Sciences and Bio-Technology), B.E. (Bio- Medical, Bio-Technology), M.B.B.S., B.V.Sc. & AH, B.A.M.S., B.H.M.S. are eligible to apply. Note: a. All Applicants appearing for final year degree examination can also apply. However, if selected, they will have to produce the proof of completion of their graduation before 30th October, 2010, failing which their admission will be cancelled and entire fee paid by them will be forfeited. b. However students having backlog of subjects or ATKT s, which are not cleared till 31 st March 2010 are not eligible for admission. 2. Admission Test:- a) PGDM applicants:- i) Applicants who have appeared in one of the following written aptitude tests are eligible to apply:- CAT (November, 2009), XAT (2010) ATMA (2010) MAT (September, 2009,December, 2009 Or February 2010) and MH-CET 2010 ii) Applicants must note that only those tests will be considered for IES Admission where the scores are mentioned along with documentary proof / evidence. e.g.: If an applicant is appearing for MH CET 2010 then the applicant must fill up the form only after results of MH CET 2010 are declared. While doing so the applicant may mention score of other tests like CAT (November 2009), XAT (2010), ATMA (2010), MAT (September 2009, December 2009 or February 2010) if the applicant has appeared along with MH CET 2010 Score. IES MCRC will consider the highest score among all the tests which the applicant has provided in the application form. Candidates will be shortlisted to participate in the selection process on the basis of this score.

4 Note: IIMs or any other agency conducting the above tests have no role in the selection process of IES MCRC. b) PGDM (HCPM) Applicants:- Applicants applying for PGDM (HCPM) programme are required to appear for any one of the above tests mentioned in 2(a). However applicants who have not given any of the above tests will have to appear for IES test. 3. How to Apply:- The entire Application process is online. If the applicant has any difficulty in the Online Application Registration Process they should read the instructions again or view the sample forms or else call on / 329 / 332/ 333 or to admissions@ies.edu. Important: a. Before accessing the online application registration form the applicant needs to decide whether the admission processing charges of Rs. 1,100/- will be paid by Cash / Demand Draft / Pay Order. For Cash option the applicant needs to personally visit IES MCRC at Mumbai along with all mandatory documents and fill the online application form at IES MCRC. b. If the applicant opts for payment by Demand Draft or Pay Order then the applicant can apply from any remote location. Demand Draft / Pay Order should be payable to IES MCRC Autonomous at Mumbai. Applicant should enter the Demand Draft / Pay Order details in the space provided on online application registration form. c. The applicant must choose which program they want to apply i.e. only one form per program. d. The applicant can separately apply for both the programs i.e. PGDM and PGDM (HCPM) along with separate processing fees payable in Cash or Demand Draft or Pay Order. 4. Instructions to fill up the Online Application Registration Form:- a. All the entries in the application form should be in capital letters. b. Mention your Blood Group if it is known. c. Applicants should enter Demand Draft / P a y O r d e r number, date and bank details in the Online form. d. If Applicant is opting for Cash payment they should not fill the online form till they personally visit IESMCRC in Mumbai and are instructed to do so. e. Applicants name and date of birth should be as mentioned in the 10th Standard marks sheet or certificate.

5 f. All communication details, viz. address for correspondence, permanent address, guardian address contact no/s and id should be clearly entered. (Refer <Sample Form I> for any assistance) g. If the applicant is not a resident of Mumbai, t h e y must state whether they need hostel facility and they must give complete and correct name and address of the local guardian in Mumbai. IES MCRC provides limited hostel facility on first come first served basis. The hostel is located at a distance of around 3/4 km. from the Institute. The programme fee does not include hostel fees and charges. h. (i). While entering educational qualification the applicants may need to view the Sample Forms attached for various types of graduation degrees. Applicant must mark Appeared only if they are awaiting the results of last Term or Final Year (ii) All information in the column for Details of Education should be correctly filled and if required refer sample forms as detailed below: a. <Sample Form II> is for 3 Year Graduate Programme (B.Com / B.A. / B.Sc / BMM / BMS) b. <Sample Form III> is for XII plus Engineering Graduates c. <Sample Form IV> is for Diploma Plus Engineering Graduates (iii) In case of College / University awarding grades instead of marks the applicant must write GPA and not percentage of marks. They should also write the maximum GPA out of which they have scored (eg: 4.25 GPA out of 5 or 7.5 out of 10) (iv) The notation Term means Semester or Trimester. (v) Important: In case of any error or wrong information related to education the applicant will be responsible and their application for admission will be immediately cancelled i. While giving information on written aptitude test, applicant should mention percentile scores in all the tests he/she has appeared. If percentile is not available then composite score should be given. The Applicant must fill up Score of Tests as mentioned in 2 (a) above. j. In the Work Experience space, a p p l i c a n t s n e e d t o mention a l l d e t a i l s about the current /past work experience. If work experience is in Academic Category then mention details of Institute / University etc. If work experience is of Non Academic Category then mention the details regarding your industry / professional experience. If work experience is in Other Category then mention the details which may be related to Self Employed, Consultant etc. Applicant should note that IESMCRC will consider the same if and only if such experience is more than ONE year. k. On completion of the form please check for all the details and then click Submit

6 button. On doing so you will be informed whether all the details are correct or not and you need to go back and make the necessary correction. On completion of all corrections and clicking submit button you will view a page title Payment Advice. On the top of the Payment Advice page you will view Registration Number and password, please take a print of this page and make note of Registration Number which will be used for all further correspondence. 5. Details of Mandatory Documentation :All the photo copies of the following documents should be duly attested by Gazetted Officer: a. 10 th, 12 th, and Degree (Semester / Terms and Year wise) Mark sheets and certificate b. CAT (November 2009)/ ATMA(2010) / MAT (September 2009, December 2009) or February 2010) / XAT (2010) / MH CET 2010 Score Card, whichever is applicable. c. Work Experience Certificate (If any) d. Gap (IF ANY) Affidavit (Period after Graduation till Admission Date) e. Photographs 2 Nos. Stamp Size (Please write Name on the reverse side of the Photograph along with Registration No.) 6. Submission of Application Registration Form: a. On submitting online form take printout of the Payment Advice. The Payment Advice along with Demand Draft / Pay Order and necessary documents should be submitted latest by April 21, 2010 at the following address:- Indian Education Society s Management College and Research Centre Vishwakarma M. Applicants should submit all documents as per list mentioned in (5) above duly attested by Gazetted Officer along with the Application Registration Form. All documents shall be verified by IESMCRC with the application registration form details. During verification if there is any incorrect information then the form will be outright rejected. Furthermore if at the time of admission (payment of fees), any document or information is found to be false or incorrect, provisional admission will be cancelled.

Selection:- a) Applicants whose application registration forms are in order will be called for Micro Presentation ( M P ) and Personal Interview (PI) based on the details provided in relation to scores in Aptitude tests. b) Such Short listed applicants name for MP & PI will be displayed on IES MCRC Website and also intimated to them by . The Personal Interviews and Micro Presentations F o r P G D M will be conducted during 6 th to 13 th May 2010 and for PGDM (HCPM) will be conducted during 9 th to 13 th May and 21st to 22nd h May 2010 at IESMCRC Mumbai. The exact dates will be intimated to the applicants by . All Outstation Applicants are advised to make their own travel arrangements in advance, keeping in mind the rush due to seasonal and holiday booking. c) Information on Micro Presentation (MP):- Applicants will be required to give a short presentation of 5 minutes duration on any current topic of their choice. Presentation will be followed by a question answer session. Applicants can give presentation with or without LCD / overhead projector. Arrangements will be made for the LCD / overhead projector. A s f a r a s Micro presentation is concerned it is meant for assessing communication skills, presentation skills and subject knowledge of the applicant. d) Personal Interview(PI):- Personal Interview will be conducted on the same day. e) Final selection will be based on the following parameters for admission. The Parameters are: (i) Past Academic Performance; (ii) Scores of Aptitude Test; (iii) Work experience and (iv) Performance in the Micro Presentation and Personal Interview. f) Selected applicants will have to pay the entire fees within 8 (eight) days from the date of declaration of Merit List or intimation, failing which the seat will be offered to the next applicant in merit. g) 15% of the total seats in PGDM are reserved for IES Management. 8. Cancellation of Admission:- For any reason if an applicant decides to cancel admission after payment of fee, then the refund will be as per AICTE rules if the refund application is received till 15 th June No fee will be refunded i f application for cancellation of admission is received after 15 th June 2010 and the entire amount paid by the applicant will be forfeited. 9. Fees: A. PGDM (Post Graduate Diploma in Management) 1 st year: Rs. 2,10,000/- (including refundable deposit Rs. 5,000/-) 2 nd year: Rs. 2,10,000/- Plus Rs.500/- towards membership of Alumni Association B. PGDM (Health Care & Pharmaceuticals Management)

8 1 st year: Rs. 1,90,000/- (including refundable deposit Rs. 5,000/-) 2 nd year: Rs. 1,90,000/- plus Rs.500/- towards membership of Alumni Association C. As part of the fees the admitted student will be given a laptop computer and a set of select text books in the first year of the program. 10. Scholarships:- IES MCRC Management offers limited number and amount of scholarships to deserving students on the principle of merit-cum-means. The minimum amount of scholarship would be Rs.50,000/- p.a. and the maximum amount would be to the extent of annual tuition fee. A separate notification will be issued by the College in this regard and the decision of the management would be final. 11. Hostel facilities:- IES MCRC provides limited hostel facility on first come first served basis. The hostel is located at a distance of around 3/4 km. from the Institute. The programme fee does not include hostel fees and charges. 12.
