7 Action II route exchange Vessel VTS SESAME Straits The primary objective is to validate shared situational awareness and cooperative decision making between ship's bridge team and shore based Vessel Traffic Service (VTS) personnel. Just In Time arrival within a Regional Maritime Service Portfolio Improve safety and efficiency of ship navigation With focus on vessel traffic hot spots Taking into account the voyage of the vessel Demo in 2016/ WORLD CLASS - through people, technology and dedication Page 7

8 Action III Info exchange Vessel VTS ON SHORE PLANNING + VTS C O M M ON BOARD PLANNING MONITORING MANOUVERING Vessel VTS; Safe and seamless Communication by K-IMS (Information Management System) allowing for route exhange between Kongsberg ECDIS and Kongsberg Norcontrol VTS. NAVTOR NavBox hosted by K-IMS. Safe exchange by K-IMS (encryption, malware) and optional VDES No manual work load, reducing human errors Standard Route format supported (IEC61174 Ed.4)

9 Action III Secure Route exchange Project CySIMS (Q Q1 2018) - Cyber Security in Merchant Shipping CySIMS will develop a new Maritime Securtity Solution, e.g. by looking cross-domain to Aviation for re-use concept for secure information exchange between Plane and Ground station. Expected results, e.g.: New signature and encryption systems for digital data A public key infrastructure for the maritime domain Tools and methods for risk assessment and corrective measures New VHF Digital Radio System

10 Action IV Information exchange (incl. routes) Pre-project Shipping 4.0 Internet of Services at Sea (Q Q4 2016) The main project will look at how large scale data in ship management organisations are defined, collected and processed in order to provide a range of services, defined as "Internet of services at sea". NAVTOR is pre-project owner, focusing on e.g.: Automated data registration and reporting Port State reporting Greenhouse Gas reporting NORWEGAIN MODEL; Government R&D Industry STANDARDS!

11 Action V ENABLE Maritime Use Case, Shore Based Bridge (SBB) SHORE BASED BRIDGE (SBB) PLANNING MONITORING C O M M ON BOARD PLANNING MONITORING MANOUVERING Cross-domain massive Validation & Verification of SW, HW and Systems in preparation for an Autonomous vessel Maritime; establish Shore Based Bridge by duplicateing 1) Planning function and 2) Monitoring function Establish and test a SECURE data exchange Ship Shore - Ship Start working on harmonisation of Regulation (IMO, IALA, Flag state, Vetting,..)
