1 PRODUCT DISCLOSURE SHEET Please read this Product Disclosure Sheet before you decide to take up the Amanah Saham Bumiputera Term Financing-i. Be sure to also read the terms in the Letter of Offer. Please seek clarifications if you do not understand any part of this document or the general terms. AMANAH SAHAM BUMIPUTERA TERM FINANCING-i Date: 31 January What is this product about? It is a Shariah compliant term financing facility for customers to invest in the unit trust Amanah Saham Bumiputera (ASB). 2. What is the Shariah contract applicable? The financing is based on the Bai Inah which is the sale-based Shariah contract as approved by Shariah Advisory Council (SAC) of Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM). 3. What do I get from this product? No Item Description Facility Amount Minimum: RM10,000 Maximum: up to RM400,000 per customer, at any one time (including the balance outstanding of the existing ASB Financing-i, if any) or up to the maximum investment amount allowed by Amanah Saham Nasional Berhad (ASNB), whichever is lower. The final facility amount approved will be based on the Bank s credit evaluation. (ii) Selling Price Rate (SPR) Computation rate for SPR at the point of granting the financing: Base Financing Rate (BFR) + 4.0% or minimum 10.0% per annum, whichever is higher. SPR is also the ceiling rate. Currently BFR is at 6.60% (iii) Effective Profit Rate Facility Amount Effective Profit Rates Below RM30,000 BFR 1.35 % (first three (3) years) BFR 1.30 % (thereafter) RM30,000 and above BFR 1.65% (throughout the financing tenure) You are advised to refer to Branches on the latest BFR. (iv) Margin of Financing Facility amount up to RM200,000: 100% of nominal value of ASB units 105% (if inclusive of Group Amanah Saham Berhad Reducing Term Takaful (GASBRTT) and other fee/charge) Facility amount above RM200,000: 95% of nominal value ASB units 100% (if inclusive of GASBRTT and other fee/charge) (v) Tenure Up to 25 years or up to age 60 years old, whichever is earlier. 4. What are the fees and charges that I have to pay? Stamp Duties : as per Stamp Act 1949 (revised 1989) (ii) Variable Standing Instruction : RM10.00 ( for stamp duty ) (iii) ASNB Certificate Fee : RM50.00 per certificate The fee and charges will be paid to ASNB and Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia. 5. What are my obligations? You have to ensure that prompt payment is to be made every month. 1/ 6

2 6. What if I fail to fulfill my obligations? The Bank has the right to be compensated on late instalment and default payment based on the following mechanism:- Overdue Instalment or Scheduled Payment Late Payment Charges (LPC) of 1% per annum will be imposed on the overdue monthly installment payment from the first drawdown until its maturity date. Upon Maturity LPC based on the prevailing daily overnight Islamic Interbank Money Market (IIMM) rate will be charged for failure to pay the total outstanding financing due after maturity or upon judgment, whichever earlier. (ii) However please note that, the amount of the LPC to the customer will not be further compounded to the outstanding financing amount. The imposition of LPC will result in an increase in customer s total balance of indebtedness. The Bank has the right to sell off the ASB Certificate in the event of default (2 months in arrears or more) and legal action may be taken against you for shortfall amount (if any). 7. What if I fully settle the financing before its maturity? The Bank shall grant rebate (Ibra') to the Customer on, but not limited to, the following events: (c) The Customer makes early settlement or early redemption, including those arising from prepayments; In the event the Effective Profit Rate is lower than the Ceiling Profit Rate / Selling Price Rate; and In the event the actual disbursed amount is less than the Facility amount. (ii) The rebates shall not be in cash rebates nevertheless the rebate can be in the form of a reduction in the profit element of the instalments of the Facility. The rebate shall only be deemed granted to customer upon receipt of the settlement/redemption sum as determined by the Bank. 8. Do I need any takaful coverage? Yes. You are required to take up and maintain a Group Amanah Saham Berhad Reducing Term Takaful (GASBRTT) with Etiqa Takaful Berhad or other Takaful operators of your choice approved by the Bank on such terms and conditions as the Bank may stipulate. 9. Do I need collateral? Your ASB investment units via the financing facility will be used as collateral. 10. What are the major risks? Changes in BFR may result in higher monthly instalment or lengthen the financing tenure however the total payment amount should not exceed the Selling Price. 11. What are the required documents needed to apply for ASB Financing-i? Application Form (ii) Photocopy of Identification Card (I/C) (iii) Photocopy of latest three (3) months payslip or other proof of income e.g. bank account statement (iv) Photocopy of ASB passbook (front page) 12. Is it compulsory to subscribe to the Will/Wasiat Writing services? No. The subscription of the Will/Wasiat Writing Services is optional. 13. What do I need to do if there are changes to my contact details? It is important for you to inform the Bank of any changes in your contact details to ensure that all correspondences reach you in a timely manner. Sila dapatkan penerangan sekiranya anda inginkan penjelasan ke atas maklumat yang terdapat di dokumen ini atau mengenai sebarang terma. PEMBIAYAAN BERJANGKA AMANAH SAHAM BUMIPUTERA-i Tarikh: 31 Januari Apakah produk ini? Ia adalah suatu kemudahan pembiayaan berjangka berlandaskan Shariah untuk melabur di dalam unit-unit Amanah Saham Bumiputera (ASB). 2. Apakah kontrak Shariah yang digunakan? Pembiayaan ini berdasarkan kepada Bai Inah di mana ia adalah kontrak Shariah yang berasaskan transaksi jualan seperti yang telah diluluskan oleh Majlis Penasihat Syariah (MPS) Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM). 3. Apakah yang dapat saya perolehi dari produk ini? No Perkara Penerangan Jumlah Kemudahan Minimum: RM10,000 Maksimum: Sehingga RM400,000 setiap pembiayaan, pada suatu masa (termasuk baki Pembiayaan ASB sediada, jika ada) atau sehingga jumlah pelaburan maksimum yang dibenarkan oleh Amanah Saham Nasional Berhad (ASNB), yang mana lebih rendah. (ii) Kadar Harga Jualan (KHJ) Jumlah amaun kemudahan yang diluluskan adalah berdasarkan kepada penilaian kredit oleh pihak Bank Pengiraan KHJ pada masa kelulusan pembiayaan ialah Kadar Pembiayaan Asas (KPA) % atau minimum 10.0% setahun, yang mana lebih tinggi. KHJ juga dikira sebagai harga siling. KPA terkini ialah 6.60%. (iii) Kadar Keuntungan Efektif Jumlah Kemudahan Kadar Keuntungan Efektif Di Bawah RM30,000 KPA 1.35 % ( tiga (3) tahun pertama) KPA 1.30 % (tahun seterusnya) RM30,000 dan ke atas KPA 1.65% (sepanjang tempoh pembiayaan) (iv) Margin Pembiayaan Anda dinasihatkan merujuk kepada Cawangan Bank untuk KPA terkini. Jumlah kemudahan sehingga RM200,000: 100% atas nilai nominal unit ASB 105% (jika termasuk Takaful Gadai Janji Berkelompok (GASBRTT) dan fi/caj) Jumlah kemudahan melebihi RM200,000: 95% atas nilai nominal unit ASB 100% (jika termasuk Takaful Gadai Janji Berkelompok (GASBRTT) dan fi/caj) (v) Tempoh Sehingga 25 tahun atau menjangkau umur 60 tahun (yang mana lebih awal). 4. Apakah yuran dan caj yang perlu saya bayar? Duti Setem : seperti tertera di dalam Akta Setem 1949 (pindaan 1989) (ii) Arahan Bolehubah : RM10.00 (Duti setem) (iii) Fi Sijil ASNB : RM50.00 setiap sijil Fi dan bayaran akan dibayar kepada pihak ASNB dan Lembaga Hasil Dalam Negeri. 5. Apakah tanggungjawab saya? Anda hendaklah memastikan bayaran ansuran bulanan dibayar dalam masa yang ditetapkan pada setiap bulan. 4/ 6

5 6. Bagaimana sekiranya saya gagal memenuhi tanggungjawab saya? Pihak Bank mempunyai hak untuk pampasan atas ansuran lewat bayar dan bayaran mungkir, berlandaskan mekanisma seperti di bawah:- Ansuran Tertunggak atau Bayaran Berjadual Caj bayaran lewat (CBL) bersamaan satu peratus (1%) setahun akan dikenakan atas ansuran atau bayaran tertunggak dari kemudahan pertama kali dikeluarkan sehingga tarikh matang. Apabila Matang CBL berdasarkan Purata kadar semalaman harian Pasaran Wang antara Bank secara Islam (IIMM) akan dikenakan di atas kegagalan membayar jumlah pembiayaan selepas tempoh matang atau sehingga penghakiman, yang mana terdahulu. Meskipun jumlah CBL dicaj, jumlah CBL tersebut tidak dikompaun seterusnya. Caj Bayaran Lewat yang dikenakan akan menyebabkan kenaikan dalam jumlah baki keterhutangan pelanggan. (ii) Pihak Bank berhak menjual Sijil ASB jika berlaku Kejadian Mungkir (tunggakan bayaran ansuran untuk 2 bulan atau lebih) dan tindakan undang undang boleh diambil terhadap anda jika masih terdapat sebarang kekurangan bayaran selepas penjualan sijil ASB. 7. Bagaimana sekiranya saya membuat penyelesaian sepenuhnya ke atas pembiayaan ini sebelum tarikh ia matang? Pihak Bank akan memberi rebat (Ibra ) kepada pelanggan pada, tetapi tidak terhad kepada, situasi-situasi berikut: (c) Pelanggan membuat penyelesaian awal atau penebusan awal, termasuk yang berpunca dari bayaran terdahulu; Sekiranya Kadar Keuntungan Efektif lebih rendah dari Kadar Keuntungan Siling / Kadar Harga Jualan; dan Sekiranya jumlah dikeluarkan sebenar adalah rendah dari jumlah Kemudahan. Bagi mengelak keraguan, adalah diperakui dan dipersetujui bahawa rebat-rebat berkenaan tidak boleh dianggap sebagai rebat tunai yang perlu dibayar kepada pelanggan, tetapi diterjemahkan sebagai tolakan dari elemen keuntungan bayaran ansuran kemudahan tersebut. Rebat berkenaan hanya akan diberikan selepas penerimaan jumlah penyelesaian/penebusan sebagaimana ditentukan oleh Bank. 8. Adakah saya memerlukan perlindungan takaful? Ya. Perlindungan takaful adalah perlu di bawah Skim Takaful Berkelompok Tempoh Berkurangan (GASBRTT) dengan Etiqa Takaful Berhad atau operator Takaful lain yang diluluskan oleh pihak Bank dengan terma dan syarat yang ditetapkan. 9. Adakah saya memerlukan cagaran? Unit pelaburan ASB melalui pembiayaan ini akan digunakan sebagai cagaran. 10. Apakah risiko-risiko utama? Penukaran di dalam Kadar Pembiayaan Asas (KPA) mungkin mengakibatkan penambahan dalam bayaran bulanan atau pemanjangan dalam tempoh pembayaran walaubagaimanapun, ianya tidak akan melebihi kadar Harga Jualan. 11. Apakah dokumen yang diperlukan untuk memohon Pembiayaan ASB? Borang Permohonan (ii) Salinan Kad Pengenalan (iii) Salinan slip gaji 3 bulan terkini atau mana-mana bukti pendapatan: contoh: penyata akaun bank (iv) Salinan buku ASB (muka depan) 12. Adakah saya perlu melanggani Perkhidmatan Penulisan Wasiat ini? Tidak. Anda diberi pilihan sama ada untuk melanggani Perkhidmatan Penulisan Wasiat tersebut atau sebaliknya. 13. Apakah yang perlu saya lakukan jika terdapat perubahan pada maklumat untuk menghubungi saya? Adalah penting untuk anda memaklumkan kepada kami mengenai sebarang pertukaran maklumat untuk menghubungi anda bagi memastikan anda menerima semua surat-menyurat tepat pada masanya.
