4 SOLID WOOD KITCHEN CABINETS The beauty of wood comes from its grain, its pattern and color. They become, in fact, its best asset. No piece of wood will be identical to another and that is why the grades classification step is so important. We love the variations, of course, but we also want your kitchen cabinets to be as homogeneous as possible. 5 WOOD VENEER KITCHEN CABINETS The veneer refers to a thin layer of real wood glued to a MDF panel. It is an interesting solution for those who want all the beauty that wood offers but for a lower cost. Adherents to sustainable development will also be seduced as it remains a natural product and significantly reduces the amount of wood used in the fabrication of cabinet doors. Features: Less expensive than solid wood More resistant to humidity than solid wood Allows you to obtain a straight door without any risk of bulking Provides a variety of patterns depending on the type of cut Brings as much warmth to your home as solid wood

6 MDF KITCHEN CABINETS MDF means Medium Density Fiberboard and is issued from pruning and wood processing waste. MDF is made of wood fibers obtained by steaming and by passage through special grinders. Wood fibers are bound together by thermosetting adhesives. After being pressed, they give the MDF panel good mechanical properties, dimensional stability and an optimal compactness along the edges. MDF is essential for the production of lacquered panels or PVC coated doors and for the realization of large surfaces where raw wood could cause problems of planarity and smoothness. 7 LACQUER KITCHEN CABINETS Applying gloss paint for a lacquered effect is undoubtedly the most difficult and most delicate paint job and demands a specific method and a lot of work. In fact, lacquer is created by the application of very thin layers of paint to a MDF panel. The goal is to make the surface smooth, flat and revealing previously applied pigments. Its quality is mainly determined by the type of paint used but also by the process used to apply it. A catalyzed product will be more resistant to impact and abrasion and will be thicker and smoother. Available in a wide range of colors and styles, the possibilities become almost unlimited. 8 EUROPEAN LAMINATE KITCHEN CABINETS The European laminate is also an innovation issued from research and technological advancement. This is a product developed entirely in Europe and has only been found on the North American market for the past couple of years. It is in the same product family as the laminate whose use is probably best known for kitchen counters or floating floors. Its clean and Zen look is perfect in a contemporary setting. In addition to offering a variety of different textures that are obtained using a press, in which a matrix with the desired pattern (veining, granite effect, stone or geometric) is inserted and will then proceed to print the desired pattern in relief, the laminated cabinet doors are sealed on both sides and on the four edges which makes it highly resistant to water, humidity and intensive use. 9 MELAMINE KITCHEN CABINETS Its exceptional hardness and rigidity, its good resistance to heat, flexural strength, resistance to light, most chemicals, abrasion and fire make this material an ideal product for achieving kitchen cabinets, inside cupboards (storage shelves in a closet), window sills or furniture. Melamine is, in fact, a particle board or a fiber board panel, covered under heat and pressure by a sheet of paper impregnated with melamine.
