2 Thermage CPT Thermage CPT is the most advanced Thermage treatment available CPT is an abbreviation for Comfort Pulse Technology The new technology makes the Thermage treatment much more comfortable and much more effective for skin tightening

3 Thermage CPT Treatment Thermage CPT is a no down time procedure that uses radio frequency energy to tighten skin Ideal candidates for Thermage CPT have mild to moderate skin laxity

4 Thermage CPT Treatment Thermage CPT does not require a series of treatments; each Thermage CPT treatment is a complete procedure However, Thermage CPT treatment can be repeated four to six months after the first procedure to further enhance the result

5 Thermage CPT There are two ways in which Thermage CPT improves patient comfort. First, the CPT technology breaks up the Thermage pulse into a series of micro-pulses Second, the CPT technology delivers the Thermage pulses with vibration. Vibration reduces the sensation of heating which leads to improved patient comfort

6 Increased Effectiveness with Thermage CPT The greatly enhanced patient comfort with Thermage CPT allows us to make many more passes over the tissues Depending on the area, we now make 8-12 passes with Thermage CPT instead of the 4-5 passes that we used to make Also, the Thermage CPT treatment tips have been redesigned and now deliver much more uniform heating of the tissues

7 Increased Effectiveness With Thermage CPT The more uniform heating of the tissues combined with the increase in the number of passes leads to Thermage CPT being a much more effective skin tightener than the earlier generations of Thermage Thus, Thermage CPT treatments are not only much more comfortable than earlier generations of Thermage but also much more effective

8 Thermage CPT Patient Selection Thermage CPT is a good procedure to tighten the skin in patients who have mild to moderate tissue laxity. Commonly treated areas are the face, neck, eyelids, abdomen, and thighs Patients must be properly selected for Thermage CPT treatment. Patients with very significant skin laxity are not good candidates for Thermage CPT and should be treated using other methods. On the other hand, patients with mild skin laxity are outstanding candidates for Thermage CPT!

21 Combination Thermage Treatments Thermage CPT can be combined with Botox and either Juvederm or Restylane to give a lovely cosmetic result. The patient in the next slide was treated with Thermage, Botox between the eyebrows, and one syringe of Restylane.

This tip is used for Abdominal Thermage CPT procedures, as well as for procedures on the thighs and other areas of the body This new treatment tip cannot be used with the original first generation Thermage

39 Abdominal Thermage CPT 16-Centimeter Tip The 16-centimeter treatment tip is over five times larger than the 3-cm treatment tip that used to be used for Abdominal Thermage. This makes the new Abdominal Thermage CPT treatment a much more effective procedure than the original Abdominal Thermage procedure! In addition, the 16-centimeter treatment tip allows the abdominal Thermage CPT procedure to be completed much more quickly and comfortably for our patients

42 Thermage CPT Summary Thermage CPT is an excellent procedure for tightening the skin in properly selected patients. The best patients for this procedure have mild or moderate tissue laxity. The most commonly treated areas are the face, neck, eyelids, thighs, and abdomen. There is no down time after a Thermage CPT treatment. Thermage CPT is intended as a single procedure, but it may also be repeated to further enhance the results.
