4 DRILLING SYSTEMS DRILL CHEM, LLC designs drilling fluid systems by selecting additives that improve our customer s wellbore construction efficiencies, reduce costs and minimize HSE impact. We customize these systems to reduce NPT in the most demanding applications, including HTHP and depleted wells. DRILL CHEM, LLC is recognized for developing solutions for downhole problems, from the simple to the complex. We develop drilling fluid systems for specific applications with the goal to reduce the cost of drilling, completing and operating the well once on stream. Complementing our drilling fluid systems are specialized additives that optimize efficiencies by targeting performanceimpacting downhole problems that increase costs. 6 COMPLETION/WORKOVER UNIT PRODUCT INTRODUCTION Many wells have multiple plugs and multiple zones in long horizontal laterals that are fracture-stimulated and coiled tubing is proving to be a more cost-effective way to mill out frac- plugs when the stimulation operation is completed and the well is ready to be placed online. Producers are driven by one goal: to reduce the cost of drilling, completing and operating the well once on stream. Drill Chem, LLC is focused to find answers to producer s needs. This is especially true today in North America, where gas prices are very low and operators have less revenue to spend on drilling new wells and are constantly striving for ever greater efficiency. Drill Chem, LLC has responded to this industry need through a mechanical design and specialty chemical additives package which have been successfully deployed and utilized in the field.
