CELEBRITY CONTACT Monday-Friday VENUE Great Wolf Lodge Old Highway 99 Southwest Centralia, Washington DANCE TIMES Competition times can be accessed through the Celebrity Online Registration System. Dancers & Studios can access their times by visiting and selecting REGISTER. From here select if you are a Dancer or a Studio. Master Class Schedules can be found in this Welcome Packet on Page 6. Celebrity aims to run on time and we will do our best to stay on time. We recommend being ready to dance 45 minutes prior to performance time in case we are running early. Dancers, check with your studio for what time they wish for you to arrive to competition for warm up. MUSIC Studios can turn in music through their online accounts on the Celebrity Online Registration System until 5 days prior to your event. Please log into your account and select HISTORY. From here upload your music if you did not do so during the registration process. Please bring backup music on CD to your Celebrity Event. Labels will be provided at the registration desk if you do not wish to upload music. Dancers cannot upload music. ENTRANCE Please refer to the MASTER TIMES in this Welcome Packet for times that dancers and parents may access Celebrity Events. ADMISSION For admission into Celebrity Conventions, a dancer must have a Convention Pass or an observer must have an Observer Pass. All Celebrity Events are closed to the public without a pass except for Celebrity CREATE. VENUE We ask that everyone helps to keep the venue in the best condition possible and clean your areas before leaving for the day. DRESSING When arriving, there will be Celebrity Staff and signs to direct you to dressing areas and classrooms. Please help make every dancer a Celebrity while at your Celebrity Event. PHOTOS & VIDEO No photo or video cameras are permitted during routines. Celebrity Photo & Video will be on hand for all of your photo and video needs. Ask a Celebrity Staff Member for more information.
4 FAMILY FRIENDLY Celebrity is proud to present an event where teachers and students can express themselves through the many styles of dance. While we promote all styles of dance we strive to keep our events family friendly. At Celebrity we believe that routines that contain inappropriate material should be penalized. We realize that there are many different ways to define what is inappropriate, therefore we have selected to have our Celebrity Judges decide what they believe to be family friendly. If a judge marks on their score sheet that they believe a routine is not appropriate, points will be deducted. The more judges that agree that a routine is not appropriate, the higher the point deduction. We hope that we can all work together to keep all Celebrity Events appropriate for our family viewers. Everyone at Celebrity Worldwide would like to thank you in advance for your hard work, dedication to dance and the Celebrity Experience. AWARDS All entries will be adjudicated by three judges. Platinum, High Gold, Gold, Silver, and Bronze awards will be presented. The top 3 solo dancers will dance again on Saturday Evening in the Celebrity CREATE Show where their placings will be announced.
