Educational Psychology Online and classroom instruction in general principles, theories, and recent research evidence regarding human development, human learning, and human motivation. General Psychology Classroom instruction in the general principles of psychology, including biological bases of behavior, sense and perception, consciousness, personality, social behavior, and psychological disorders. Human Development Online and classroom instruction in the theories and principles of human development as they occur throughout the lifespan, including physical, cognitive, and socioemotional development. Identity, Emotions, and Social Interaction Classroom instruction into the origins and construction of identity, major theories of socioemotional development, and how culture, media and technology influence social interaction. Assessment and Research Methods Foundations of Educational Assessment Co-taught using a hybrid instructional model that focuses on creating, standardizing, and interpreting diagnostic, performance, and proficiency assessments used in educational settings. Research Methods Project-based learning approach to exploring research methods that includes research design, locating and summarizing published research, sampling, measurement, descriptive, and inferential statistics, and critiquing of published research. Technology Design of Educational Software Face to face instruction in various theories of learning as they apply to courseware. Development of Educational Software Hybrid instructional model using a project-based learning method that focuses on programming languages used to create educational multimedia. An emphasis has been placed on Internet-based applications.
