2 Welcome to the Golf Club at Castle Dargan. First and foremost I wish you a wonderful visit to this magnificent estate and I hope you have as much fun playing the course as I had designing it. My objective in designing the course was to do justice to the scenic landscape to the estate and create a course that would offer a test for golfers of all abilities. The natural tumbling terrain that we had to work with ver y much dictated the design and allowed us to create some truly special golf holes. I am delighted with what we have achieved at Castle Dargan. It really has exceeded my expectations and it is a club that I am proud to part of. Darren Clarke Course designer & member

3 Length of green Distance to the FRONT of the green, which corresponds to a prominent landmark. A distance shown next to a red cross i.e. 220 X indicates a lay-up yardage to a point marked by another X Colour plates to front of green Distance from coloured tees to that point. White Arrow indicate the direction a ball would roll from that point. The longer the line the more downhill the put. All measurements in Yards. HOST VENUE OF :

7 Please repair your Pitch Mark Dear Player, Congratulations on hitting the green! As you prepare to hole your putt, as a courtesy to the golfers behind you and the course itself please take the time to fix your pitch mark and one other. Always remember, if your shot hits the green on the fly, there will be some damage. Find it, repair it, then look for and repair at least one other that someone else missed. If you notice any ball mark on the green that needs fixing, PLEASE fix it.

13 The Half Way House The Middleton Bar located just 30 yards from the 8th green is the perfect place to stop and stock-up on refreshments to keep your energy high and scores low! Please be aware of the pace of play. It is good etiquette to let the group behind through if you have lost ground with the golfers ahead

I am always assured of a warm welcome, services second to none and a Golf Course that can be presented and played upon to Championship standard by Players of all ages and abilities. 19 The Connacht Branch of Irish Ladies Golf Union held the Connacht Ladies Championships at Castle Dargan Golf Resort in June We had a ver y successful event thanks in no small part to the wonderful care and attention to ever y detail we received from the Golf Services Team. The in house facilities together with having ever ything on site made the event easy to organize. We really appreciate all the help we received from all staff at Castle Dargan who were so professional in their approach from initial contact to the completion of our event. High praise for the venue was received from all players ensuring that we will be back to Castle Dargan to hold another prestigious event in the not too distant future.
