1 Consulate General of India Sao Paulo IMPORTANT NOTES: APPLICANTS ARE REQUESTED TO READ THE NOTES BEFORE APPLYING FOR VISA The Consulate General of India in Sao Paulo accepts applications only from applicants residing in the states of Sao Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Parana, Santa Caterina and Rio Grande do Sul Three components of Visa fees are: 1. Visa fee 2. Sedex charge & 3. ICWF charge. Additional fee for R$.15,00 for Foreigners(Non-Brazilian) only. Emergency Visa fee for R$.126,00 is applicable only for those applicants who require Emergency Service at our office counter on working days from 1430 hrs. to 1600 hrs. Visa fee once deposited into the Consulate bank account, it is not refundable in any case. Only original receipt of Cash deposit into our bank account is acceptable. Any other mode of payment like ATM/Envelope/Cheque payments etc. are not acceptable. Total Payment can be made under a single receipt. ONLY ONLINE APPLICATION TO BE SUBMITTED AT necessary documentation alongwith original fee receipt to be submitted via Sedex or `in person under Emergency route` at the Consulate. For more details please see BANK Account details for deposit of Fees: BANCO SANTANDER, AGENCY : 4793-SP, ACCOUNT NO Tourist visa more than 6 months and any other category of visa for more than one year will be issued only if, the competent authority of CGI, SP approves it. Some Category of visas like Prior Referral Category will be issued only after receiving clearance from MHA, New Delhi. Non- Brazilian passport holders visa will be issued only after receiving clearance from the Indian Mission in the

2 country from which their passport was issued. It takes a minimum of 4-5 days to get such clearances. Non- Brazilian passport holders are also required to submit a copy of Brazilian RNE and a copy of passport dual citizenship. VISA ON ARRIVAL FACILITY (TVoA-ETA) IS AVAILABLE FOR BRAZILIAN PASSPORT HOLDERS. Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) is valid for entry through 9 designated Airports only i.e. Bengaluru, Chennai, Cochin, Delhi, Goa, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Mumbai & Trivandrum. International Travellers whose sole objective of visiting India is tourism, recreation, sight-seeing, casual visit to meet friends or relatives, short duration medical treatment or casual business visit ARE ELIGIBLE TO APPLY IN THIS CATEGORY. 4 Consulate General of India, Sao Paulo FOREIGNERS-NON-BRAZILIAN s VISA IMPORTANT NOTES: FOREIGNERS (Non Brazilian Passport Holders) ARE REQUESTED TO READ THE NOTES BEFORE APPLYING FOR VISA: Business /Employment/ Tourist visa fees are different for following foreign countries. Foreigners (Non-Brazilians) are requested to apply along with the copy of RNE and copy of their foreign passport. Foreigner s visa will be issued only after receiving clearance from the Indian Mission located in the country from where their passport was issued. Normally, it takes 4-5 days. Deposit additional fee for R$.15,00 for referral charge. Four components of visa fees are i. Visa Fee, ii. Sedex Charge, iii. ICWF charge and iv. Referral charge. Visa fee once deposited will not be refunded. Deposit only Cash into our bank account and submit the original receipt to process your visa.
