1 Nombre: Español 1 FINAL EXAM STUDY GUIDE Final Exam Format: The final exam, like your assessments all semester, will be broken up into the different categories based upon modes of communication: speaking, writing, grammar, vocabulary, reading, and listening.. Writing Exam: Answer 6 basic questions in a complete sentence. Given a group of sentences, choose the sentence with NO errors. Grammar Exam: Vocabulary Exam: Listening Exam: **listening to the vocabulary on Classzone or Quizlet is the only way to review for the listening portion Go to and follow the directions, filling in the guide as you go! ***You will NOT have time to complete all of the tasks, so pick and choose what you think will help you. I encourage you to use this as a study tool.
2 A. WHICH UNITS DO I NEED TO FOCUS ON? TASK: Complete a Self-Check 1. Go to Online review. 2. Click on Self-Check Quizzes. You have taken some of these before, but take them again! Take them without notes so you have a true assessment of your understanding. 3. The following quizzes include material on your final exam: 1. Lección Preliminar score: /10 2. U1L1 score: /10 3. AM I ABLE TO CONJUGATE THE VERBS FROM SEMESTER 1?: TASK: Practice Conjugating Verbs 1. Click on Conjuguemos. and then Avancemos 1 (the orange one). 2. Select Unit 2 Lesson 1 Cumulative. **This will be ALL of the verbs you are supposed to know after Semester 1*** 3. As you work through the verbs, write down any verb you conjugate incorrectly. 4. After you have your list, call me over and I can show you how to only practice the ones that are hard for you. 3 C. WHAT VOCABULARY DO I NEED TO FOCUS ON? TASK: Complete a Self-Check 1. Pull out your vocabulary lists from this semester (in your notes packets). 2. Cover up the English side. 3. Read the list to yourself in Spanish. 4. If the English definition does not come to mind right away, highlight or star that word. 5. Don't waste time studying words you already know! TASK: Study with the Online Flashcards 1. Go to Online Review. 2. Click on Flashcards. 3. Review the following units: 1. Lección Preliminar 2. U1L1 3. U1L2 4. U2L1 **whenever you know a word, click REMOVE so you can focus on other words. TASK: Study with the Online Games 1. Go to Online Review 2. Click on Games. 3. You should be able to successfully play all games from Leccion Preliminar to U2L1. TASK: Study with Tutor 1. Go to the next page in this packet. 2. Follow the directions to Tutor. 3. Using the navigation bar on the left, select from the vocabulary choices: -presentación -flashcards -práctica TASK: Go to 1. Click on Español 1 2. Click on Avancemos 1 3.
