The new eq AHU range from Fläkt Woods is no sudden wonder it s the result of an intensive R&D programme and over a 100 years of experience. eq is available in 17 sizes with air flows ranging from m 3 /s. The range covers every possible need, from single supply air units to integrated solutions with heat recovery and advanced controls. Clever design and a dedicated supply chain means that eq can meet the needs of the most urgent, fast track projects. The flexible design, energy efficient components and brilliant control system provides a new benchmark for the industry, meeting tomorrow s demands for performance, cost and energy efficiency, today.

3 eq is our new, highly adaptable air handling unit offering a number of new features that have not previously been available on the market. The intelligent casing, the energy-efficient components and the flexible design mean that eq is cost-effective, and the possibility to combine a single unit and a double decked unit makes it highly flexible. eq is a standardized range in 17 sizes, which covers an air flow range from 0.1m 3 /s to 9m 3 /s. Everything from single supply air or exhaust air units to complete units with heat recovery, energy-efficient components and in-built control and regulation systems is available. The length of the unit is determined by the selected components. The unit is very simple to select in Acon, install and commission. eq is based on a long experience of air handling. Fläkt Woods has been developing and producing air handling units for more than 70 years, and the majority of eq s main components, such as dampers, recovery units, fans and silencers are manufactured by Fläkt Woods. The components have been selected to be as energy-efficient as possible. This modern air handling unit is designed to meet all conceivable air handling requirements and standards in Europe. eq conforms to air tightness classes according to CEN L2 (B) and is manufactured in a certified workshop with regard both to quality (ISO 9001) and to the environment (ISO14001). eq is certified by Eurovent. Typical installations eq can be used anywhere, Typical installations include offices, schools, hospitals, retail, industrial and public buildings. The unit can be delivered suitable either for internal or external installation.

5 Unique control equipment Irrespective of whether you are a consultant, a contractor or an operator, you will notice the advantage of choosing eq factory-fitted control equipment. Our control equipment has been developed to simplify project planning, installation and operation; to give you more time for other issues. The integrated control equipment is supplied complete with all necessary field components; programmed, configured and tested. It is the perfect solution for both small installations with simple control functions and for larger plants with data communication requirements. The Fläkt Woods control platform supports communication via an open standard protocol that allows simple and cost-effective integration with building automation systems. The air handling unit is connected to other systems by the system integrator. The areas of application are only limited by the current consumption of the fans. The control equipment naturally fulfils the EC directives MD, EMC and LVD. Control unit The control system is constructed from quality components supplied by the best manufacturers in the field. The heart of the system is one of the most powerful digital controllers on the market. The software has been especially developed for eq and contains practically all the functions needed to control an air handling unit. All functions are prepared for operation, but some of them require supplementary hardware.
