3 SPECIALIZED MASTER S PROGRAMS MASTER OF SCIENCE IN ACCOUNTING The 21st century has brought with it a complex economic climate. The Master of Science in Accounting program offers a concentrated curriculum comprised of financial and managerial accounting, auditing and systems. Both the accelerated and full-time programs produce professionals who become invaluable as adjusters at public accounting firms, and as accounting and information specialists in industry or government. MASTER OF SCIENCE IN TAXATION The Master of Science in Taxation program prepares students for careers requiring a high degree of specialized tax knowledge in public accounting, private industry, and government. You will master the technical skills required to follow federal codes and regulations, which is essential for success in a career in taxation. 5 DOMESTIC AND INTERNATIONAL STUDY TRIPS Students enrolled in our specialized master s programs have the opportunity to participate in U.S. study trips during the fall semester and international study trips during the spring semester. U.S. locations may include Washington, D.C., New York and Chicago. Global locations have included India and China in previous years and may include Latin America and Europe. Study trips are optional for master s students except those enrolled in the Master of International Business Studies program, for which they are required.
