1 Nightline L/LS Wall- and ceiling mount luminaires for T16 fluorescent lamps Nightline L is an innovative exterior luminaire series for T16 fluorescent lamps. The high protection class IP65 allows them to be used facing in any direction. There are four different lengths of housing to accommodate T16 lamps of different wattages. In addition to the individual luminaries of the Nightline L series, there is also the Nightline LS modular series for creating continuous lines. Depending on the installation there is a choice of a short mounting flange or 2 longer arms. Nightline L/LS

7 Nightline LS Modular System Nightline LS Modular System The luminaire modules are joined together in continuous runs. The luminaire system is installed using either wall brackets or wall arms. The wall arms increase the distance between the luminaire and the surface to be illuminated, thus increasing the uniformity of light distribution. Regardless of the number of luminaires to be connected, just 1 wall bracket set or 1 wall arm set is required to mount the outer left and right hand luminaires, LSL and LSR, to the surface. The number of these connection parts required equals the total number of luminaires minus 1. 8 The Modular System LSL Luminaires of different lengths and wattages can be connected together. One left (LSL) and one right hand (LSR) luminaire are always required. In addition to these, middle luminaires (LSM) can be added to the system. By combining luminaires of different lengths, the overall length of the system can be made to coincide with the dimensions of the surface to be illuminated. If modules of the same length are to be connected together, lamps of the same wattage should be used in order to ensure uniform illumination. FH lamps (Osram terminology) or HE lamps (Philips terminology) have the same light density regardless of wattage or length of lamp.
