9 Tunisia Licencing Chart Open Door Policy Prospecting authorization * -1 year; -Non exclusive; -For non explored or under-explored areas; -Commitment: Geological studies * Practically excluded Prospecting Permit -2 years with possibility of extension for 12 months maximum -Exclusive; Priority right for conversion into Exploration Permit under conditions agreed between the Granting Authority and the Company at the same time of the seismic option granting. Commitment: Geophysical works (seismic acquisition & or reprocessing ) Exploration Permit - Granted for an initial period up to 5 years maximum; - Renewal right (2 periods up to 3 years each); with relinquishment system; - Area extension possibility (up to 50 % of initial granted acreage); - Validity extension possibility (up to 2 years); - Exploration work commitment: Initial Period: - G & G Data acquisition, processing, and interpretation, for a competitive number of km or square km; - Drilling of a competitive number of exploration wells. Renewal Periods: One or more exploration well(s). - Estimated costs for the work commitment during each period Discovery Production Licence - For 30 years for development and production. - With a Development Plan approved by the Granting Authority. - With specific fiscal terms: Royalty, Income Tax. - Long Term Production Test authorization can be granted under an agreed terms (duration, testing program ) 7

20 HASDRUBAL DEVELOPMENT PROJECT Presentation : Hasdrubal field is an offshore concession located in the gulf of Gabes part of Amilkar license. Holders : ETAP 50% BGT 50% Daily Production : 2.91 MMm 3 of Gas barrel of Oil & Condensate 900 m 3 of LPG Investment costs : 1710 MMUS$ 18

21 HASDRUBAL ASSET DESCRIPTION The Hasdrubal gas field is part of the Amilcar permit and comprises of a rich gas condensate reservoir and an associated oil rim. It is located in the Gulf of Gabes 125 km South East of Sfax and 36 km South West of the Miskar Field in approximately 60 metres of water. 19

22 2- MISKAR The Miskar gas field is located offshore Tunisia in the Gulf of Gabes, approximately 125 kilometres southeast of the city of Sfax. The field was discovered by Elf in 1975 but remained undeveloped until BG brought it onstream in 1996 when a local gas market had been established. Gas is produced from the field via an offshore platforms and piped onshore to the BG-operated Hannibal gas processing plant (GPP-Sfax). 20

23 2- MISKAR BG is the largest producer of gas in Tunisia through operating both fields (Miskar & Hasdrubal), which satisfy over 60% of local gas demand. 21

24 3- CHERGUI The Chergui field is a gas/condensate field located on the island of Kerkennah, 25 kilometres from the city of Sfax. The previous operator, OMV, decided to divest the asset because of the development delays. Its interest was acquired by the oil and gas services group Petrofac in November ETAP 55% Petrofac 45% Discovery 1992 by BGT: Concession granted on 2001 Daily Gas Production: 0,8 MM m 3 First Gas Scheduled October 2007 Done August 2008 win-win partnership 22

26 4- NAWARA NAWARA DEVELOPMENT PROJECT Presentation : Nawara concession is an onshore field part of Jenein South license in the SOUTH OF Tunisia. Holders : ETAP 50% OMV 50% Daily Production expected : 2.7 MMm 3 of Gas/day 5000 Barrel of Condensate/day 130 T of LPG/day Investment costs : 1285 MMUS$ 24
