1 Holiday Workshop Booking & Theme Ideas The holidays are that time of year when people make the most cards and give the most gifts which makes it the perfect time to have workshops and help your customers meet their holiday needs! In your holiday workshops, you can help your customers design and create their holiday cards, show them easy handcrafted gifts they can make and give, and guide them to wonderful Stampin Up! product gift ideas (the Holiday Extravaganza Gift-Giving Guide is all they need!). 2 Promoting Workshop Bookings during the Holidays by Cindy Baughman At the start of each workshop I give the hostess an incentive stamp as my first step of thanking her for inviting me into her home. Then I explain to everyone at the workshop that they will get to Make & Take two items a favor and a card and that everything else I demonstrate the hostess will get to keep. Then I start the demonstration by demonstrating something exclusively for the hostess. In the past it has been a specialty card with embellishments. Currently I m showing our exclusive Bitty Box & Envelope Bigz XL die, and I m stamping with the Christmas Punch Level 2 hostess stamp set. I create a holiday box, share some ideas that this box could be used for to inspire the guests, share with them that this set is one that they could earn for free as a hostess, and then I open the small envelope and inside is an invitation for an exclusive hostess event. I then read the following invite out loud: Thank you for hosting this workshop with me. To show my appreciation, you are invited to attend a HOLIDAY HOSTESS night at my home on Friday, November 13, at 6:30 PM This night will include dinner, stamping, and surprises! Want to bring a friend? Encourage them to book a workshop with me! Blessings, Cindy [Phone Number] I ve had several hostesses who, right after me reading that, turned to their friend and said, You book the next workshop so you can come with me to this event! When I hold the exclusive event, I serve a simple dinner, have some cute free projects for them to stamp, and then give them the first opportunity to book a workshop where I will showcase those same fun projects. At my last event, I even had the hostesses place orders for the items I shared that night! This is a simple idea but it has helped me increase my workshop bookings, and I hope it works for you too.

You don t have to go anywhere; You can just stay at home Just contact Kris By or phone. Avoid all the traffic And overpass ramps. Just sit back, relax And order me STAMPS!

4 Help the Husbands Holiday Workshop It s time to start thinking about the men in your life who need a little help during the holidays shopping for their wives, that is! Fill out the 40 Guests in 4 Minutes worksheet, but this time with men in mind. Contact some of them and ask if they d like to get a few of their friends together to win the hearts of their wives all over again this Christmas. You ll make their gift-buying experience easy for them and will help them top it all off with a heartfelt, handcrafted card! In your Help the Husbands Holiday Workshop, you ll want to cut to the chase: break out the Make & Take where you lead them through creating a card that they can give with their gift of Stampin Up! products. Use heartfelt, romantic images or words. Or consider giving them a few options for their Make & Take so it s more personalized to their taste or what they think their wives would like best. For the actual gift, suggest products they can order for their wives by leading them through the Holiday Extravaganza Gift-Giving Guide and encourage them to order enough so they can add the free Décor Elements piece to their present! Be creative in other ways to make the workshop fun and guy-friendly. 5 Holiday Card Design Workshop Meet your customers needs by offering holiday card design consultations during your workshops. Doing this could help book workshops too! Ask your customers and contacts if they want to get their friends together for a night where they ll See lots of holiday card ideas (from two cards you demonstrate, samples you ve made, cards shown in the Idea Book & Catalog or Holiday Mini Catalog, or other ideas you ve found online and printed). Get a free holiday card design consultation with you. Choose what their holiday card will be this year. Be able to order all of the supplies to create their holiday cards. Demonstrate two cards that show examples of simple holiday cards they could recreate. Instead of having the customers do a Make & Take, sit with each of them while you help them choose what stamp set they d like, a layout for the card, colors, and any other accessories. Help them fill out the order form based on all the supplies they ll need to create the card. While you re meeting with each customer, the others can be enjoying a yummy holiday treat and listening to holiday music provided by the hostess!
